Avatel Eco Lodge Halkidiki

I stayed with my wife for 6 nights. Extremely pleasant location. Quiet and surrounded by forest as in the pictures on the official website. The rooms are also as stated on the website, modern with new furniture. Double rooms are about 18 square meters, for those who want more comfort it might be good to stay in the family rooms. The privacy of the terraces of the rooms on the ground floor could be improved. Its PET FRIENDLY and this is wonderfull!!! The staff is extremely kind and available. I would especially like to highlight Ksenija and Julia. The hotel has its own restaurant, decent food and excellent prices as well as the bar. There is a path of about 150 meters to the beach which can be a little challenging on the way back to the hotel for those with weaker fitness. The beach is small and wild, beautiful but it needs to be improved visually and have a bar because for every drink you have to go back to the hotel. at night it is very quiet and pleasant because of the forest in which the hotel is surrounded but because of that there are mosquitoes but it is not a problem as long as there is autan :) all in all a great holiday, a beautiful place and I will definitely be your guest again

A very unique hotel nestled in the heart of pine and olive trees; it truly makes you feel like you’re immersed in nature! The staff is absolutely wonderful; you’ll be warmly greeted by kind, always-smiling ladies who genuinely care about your experience. Guest satisfaction clearly comes first here. The pool is lovely, the restaurant is quite decent, and everywhere you look, it’s green and peaceful, with the soothing sound of cicadas in the background. A special shoutout to the excellent breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully served. 👌🏻 Just a few heads-up to help future guests have an even smoother stay: • Room sizes: The double rooms are on the smaller side (around 18 sqm), so if space matters to you, consider booking a family room (approx. 28 sqm) for more comfort. • Beach access: To reach the sea, you walk through a small forest; it’s a lovely experience, but it might be a bit tiring for some. The beach itself is more natural and untouched, perfect for nature lovers. Just note that there’s no service down there, so you’ll need to bring your own drinks or snacks. • Mosquitoes: As expected in such lush surroundings, mosquitoes are around. A quick spray makes all the difference; without it, you might be a bit too popular with the local wildlife 😄 Overall, I strongly recommend this place, thanks to the wonderful staff who made our stay so comfortable and fun. Would definitely come back!

+ Good pool, very close to the rooms. + Good wifi. + Beach is private, very few people, only the guests. + Very gracious and kind hosts, we immediately could upgrade our room when we asked. - The beach is not in a great condition, the pictures can be misleading. - The path down to the beach is not suitable for strollers, can be a difficult access. - Certain elements of the rooms were not working, like the sliding doors in one room, or the lights in another.

The Avatel Eco Lodge in Kassandra, Halkidiki turned out to be the perfect solo escape a peaceful hideaway surrounded by pine trees and just a few minutes walk from a quiet, beautiful beach. My suite was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything I needed to feel comfortable and at ease. What really stood out was the warmth of the staff they greeted me by name, checked in to make sure I had everything I needed, and made me feel completely at home. I loved starting my mornings with breakfast on the terrace, listening to the sound of the waves in the distance, and then spending the day either by the pool or wandering through the surrounding nature trails. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind, reconnect with yourself, and leave feeling refreshed I can’t wait to return.

We had a truly wonderful time at this hotel. Everything about it was perfect — the atmosphere, the peaceful surroundings, and the story behind the place made it feel special. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, the rooms were spotless, and the restaurant offered great food at very reasonable prices. We created beautiful memories here and would love to come back again.
