Where rich history meets modern luxury with panoramic views over Athens, this 4 star hotel is a meeting point of the old and the new.
The beautiful neoclassical building of the Athens Flair Hotel was renovated by the architect Dimitris Siagonas and his executive team. Paying homage to its storied past, they created a boutique hotel in Athens that intervenes history with a contemporary edge and modern décor, without erasing the beauty of its architectural design.
It is a majestic and modern building – a true architectural jewel for the city of Athens. Harmoniously blending the past with the present, it combines elements of minimal design with contemporary aesthetics and the original elements of the building that have been conserved, such as the gorgeous marble staircase, delicate ceiling embellishments, the floors and walls in some of the interior spaces.
Guests will be fascinated by the simplicity and symmetry of the design of the interior areas of the hotel. The property has been transformed into a luxury hotel with 6 suites and a rooftop terrace with magnificent views, honoring the history and the architecture of the building. While original aspects remain, the amenities are modern and luxurious for guests to indulge.
It is important to highlight the fact that this beautiful house on the corner of Delphi and Didotou streets was built in 1906 and was inextricably linked to a huge personality of Greek arts, called Elli Lambeti.
The construction of the original building dates back to 1880-1889. The building was designed by the Danish architect Theophil Edvard Freiherr von Hansen. At 1985 the building has been classified as a work of art from the Greek Ministry of Civilization. The building located at Delfon and Didotou streets in Kolonaki area is characterized as a work of art that needs special state protection, (according to the provisions of Law 1469/50) because it is an extremely interesting and very remarkable example of architecture of the Neoclassicism era. In the neoclassical form of the building, there is an obvious effect of the Doric style.
This residence has been transformed into a luxury hotel with 6 suites and a rooftop with magnificent views to Lycabettus Hill, honoring the history and the architecture of the building. Combining elegant comfort and the charm of Neoclassical times, this New Boutique Hotel showcases intimacy and luxury.
