Apanemo Hotel & Suites Santorini

I was extremely satisfied with this hotel, and this is going to be a long review. Yes, there were a few very minor flaws, but they were so insignificant, they’re not even worth mentioning. As a 3-star hotel, this is honestly the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff — especially the lady at the reception — were incredibly kind, attentive, and solution-oriented. I can’t praise their professionalism and hospitality enough. The kitchen staff were also very polite and respectful. Whatever we needed, whatever problem we had, they handled it quickly and kindly. They truly did everything they could to ensure our comfort. The hotel was spotless — even the cushions we sat on were perfectly clean. Breakfast was sufficient, filling, and satisfying. It’s not a money-hungry business; they don’t count every penny, and they’re very flexible. We probably caused them some trouble at times or struggled to explain ourselves, but even then, they remained extremely understanding. It’s such a peaceful hotel, and you can feel that the staff have been carefully selected for their respectful and kind nature. You could easily spend an entire day at the hotel without leaving — they really have everything you need. Whoever is managing this hotel, I just want to say thank you — you’ve done an amazing job.

Words can't really express what I feel about this place and I'm not sure where to start. My girlfriend and I went to Santorini for the first time to celebrate her 30th birthday. It was our first trip together and this location was the cornerstone that not only tied everything together, but had us in a relaxing historical village that offered not only close beach access, but plenty of fun activies such as kayaking, visiting the archeological site, and being close to some amazing local restaurants. From the start, the staff were absolutely incredible. Calm, friendly, unpretentious, and extremely warm and welcoming. Can't say enough good things about every single person we interacted with, from the maid to the maintenance tech to reception. Angelina was an absolute joy and extremely helpful and kind. She made us feel welcome from the first minute we talked with her. The location is prime and the junior suite offers some of the best views on this planet. Watching the sunset from the pool or the chairs in the back was magical and unforgettable, and offers an amazingly romantic experience for anyone traveling with a partner. I can't understate how amazing the view was from the junior suite. The pool was also a lot of fun, and using the massage service and having a massage set up beds outside your room in that beautiful Santorinian breeze was divine. The food was perfect and nourishing. Fresh ingredients, creative local dishes and your typical staple breakfast foods had us ordering breakfast to our room every day. We didn't use the shuttle service, but the fact that the hotel offers a free shuttle to anywhere in the village of Akrotiri is excellent. I also want to reiterate that the massage was excellent. The service is run by a friendly couple who provided a very relaxing experience right outside our room. Highly recommend! If I keep typing about this place I won't stop. If you have the means, book the junior suite. You can't go wrong. Akrotiri is an amazing place and I would plan another trip to Santorini just so I could stay at the Apanemo.

Oh man, where do I start? I felt like I was at a place for the rich and famous! My room and view were unbelievable! The staff and the owners were all so friendly and welcoming, not to mention accommodating. I will be back as much as possible. I have never felt so at home. Thank you all for being so sweet. A very charming hotel. With a beautiful view of volcano and caldera. The rooms are very nice and the service is great ! Highly recommend for a romantic getaway

Don’t think twice - stop, and book this hotel! From the warmth of the people working at the hotel to the pool and the room, everything is just perfect! Breakfast was delicious every day!
