Highly recommend! We enjoyed a 4 night stay here for vacation. It was in a fantastic area and we were walking distance to so many things to do and restaurants, as well as the metro. It was also easy to get to from the airport via a cheap metro ride on the Blue Line. The hotel was recently renovated and all of our rooms were clean and came with a small fridge, pumps of the essentials (body lotion, conditioner, shower gel/shampoo). The breakfast was also fantastic! Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay in the heart of Athens! Perfect location right in the city center, within walking distance of all the main attractions, shops, and restaurants. The breakfast was outstanding — a rich buffet combined with à la carte options, all freshly prepared and delicious. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, offering excellent service throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Athens!

I would like to bring to your attention a very unfortunate incident that occurred during my recent trip to Greece. Our journey began on 15th October 2025, starting from Santorini, followed by Mykonos, and we arrived in Athens on 21st October 2025. After reaching Athens, my cab driver dropped me a bit away from Hotel Acropolis Grid due to ongoing roadwork near the hotel. When I reached the hotel square, I stopped to make a phone call. There was someone standing behind me, but I didn’t suspect anything unusual at that moment. Later, while making a video of my hotel room, I realized that my iPhone 17, which I had purchased just eight days earlier, had been stolen from my bag. Following the advice of local people, I immediately went to the Tourist Police and narrated the entire incident. However, instead of offering help, the officers behaved insensitively and asked us to leave the station, saying that if we filed a complaint, we would have to appear in court. They also mentioned that since my phone wasn’t insured and the CCTV footage was not accessible to them, there was nothing they could do. All the staff at Acropolis Grid Hotel showed complete insensitivity by not offering any kind of help. Instead, the nearby hotel assisted us in every possible way, even though we were not staying there. This experience was extremely disappointing and disheartening. I felt misguided and helpless as a tourist in their country. Losing a phone worth ₹1,50,000 (approx.) in a moment was painful, but what hurt more was the indifference shown by the Greek police. While I may eventually recover or replace my phone, the negative impression this incident left about Greece’s hospitality and law enforcement will remain with me for a long time. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope appropriate action is taken to ensure other tourists do not face such experiences in the future. Sincerely, Mrs.vandana korade Pune Maharashtra India
