Kalamata International Dance Festival 2025

The Kalamata International Dance Festival (KIDF) returns from 18 to 27 July 2025, once again transforming the coastal city of Kalamata into a vibrant hub for contemporary dance. Now in its 31st year, the festival continues to champion the power of movement and expression, bringing together pioneering choreographers, rising talent and dance lovers from around the world.

Under the artistic direction of Linda Kapetanea, the 2025 edition features a diverse programme of performances, workshops and community activities that explore the boundaries of contemporary dance.

Shows take place across five distinct stages and settings: the Main Stage and Alternative Stage of the Kalamata Dance Megaron, the foyer space, and selected outdoor venues throughout the city and the wider Messinia region.
