Descripción

El Sitio Arqueológico de Nikópolis, que “se extiende” sobre un área de decenas de acres, es un tesoro arqueológico, cuya ambición es convertirse en un Parque Arqueológico Modelo de renombre mundial.

La ciudad fue fundada como símbolo de la gran victoria de Cayo Julio César Octaviano, y posteriormente del emperador romano Augusto contra Marco Antonio y Cleopatra VII de Egipto en Actium en el 31 a.C. y floreció durante el período romano.

El visitante puede explorar impresionantes hallazgos de mosaicos y ver de cerca las murallas romanas, el teatro romano, el conservatorio único, el nymphaeum, los baños romanos de la antigua Nicópolis, casas romanas, así como el lugar donde se colocó el infame Monumento de la victoria de Augusto en la batalla naval de Actium.

El visitante también puede ver la influencia del cristianismo en Nicópolis, aprender sobre el famoso filósofo estoico Epicteto y participar en un “viaje mágico” a la famosa ciudad de Nike.

Epirus Adventures allows for the eventuality that a Participant may need to change or cancel an agreed service. Notification must be received in writing. The following cancellation policy applies:

  1. Cancellation 5 or more days prior to scheduled private Experience: Full refund
  2. Cancellation 3-4 days prior to scheduled private Experience: 50% refund
  3. Cancellation 1-2 days prior to scheduled private Experience or No Show: No refund
