Nikopolis Arkeolojik Alanı, onlarca dönümlük bir alana “yayılmış” olan arkeolojik bir hazinedir; amacı, dünya çapında tanınan bir Model Arkeolojik Parkı olmaktır.

Şehir, M.Ö. 31'de Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus'un Mark Antony ve Mısır Kraliçesi Kleopatra VII'ye karşı kazandığı büyük zaferin sembolü olarak kurulmuş ve Roma döneminde gelişmiştir.

Ziyaretçi, etkileyici mozaik buluntularının arasında gezinebilir ve Roma duvarlarını, Roma tiyatrosunu, eşsiz konservatuarı, nymphaeum'u, Antik Nikopolis'in Roma hamamlarını, Roma evlerini ve Augustus'un Actium deniz savaşındaki zaferinin ünlü Anıtı'nın yerini yakından görebilir.

Ziyaretçi ayrıca Nikopolis'teki Hristiyanlığın etkisini görebilir, ünlü stoacı filozof Epiktetos hakkında bilgi edinebilir ve Nike'nin ünlü şehrine “büyülü bir yolculuk” yapabilir.

Epirus Adventures allows for the eventuality that a Participant may need to change or cancel an agreed service. Notification must be received in writing. The following cancellation policy applies:

  1. Cancellation 5 or more days prior to scheduled private Experience: Full refund
  2. Cancellation 3-4 days prior to scheduled private Experience: 50% refund
  3. Cancellation 1-2 days prior to scheduled private Experience or No Show: No refund
