Mitsis Family Village is a rich ultra-all-inclusive 4* hotel in Kos with superb views. It is built on the foot of Mountain Dikeos, only 5 minutes-walk away from a Blue Flag awarded beach. Mitsis Family Village has a crystal-clear pebble beach which can be reached either by jumping on the hotel’s cool beach hopper or by walking about 5’ and staying fit as well, 6 Bars and 3 take away restaurants which include a pastry corner with premium ice-cream and most of which operate during the day.
The hotel offers 219 spacious standard and superior rooms with sharing pools, a Mediterranean style décor and an impressive view to the Aegean Sea. Among the available facilities are seawater swimming pools and water slides, a tennis court, beach volley, beach soccer and numerous sports and other recreational activities.

10.07.2025This was our first ever all inclusive family holiday (and this is my first ever review too) I’d previously avoided this type of holiday, but Mitsis Family Village was recommended to us by family members. I have to say that we were all very impressed with the entire set up. To start with the Transfer to the hotel was so easy. The food was amazing, so much choice and variety. Different fresh fish everyday was the highlight for me, but the meat and vegetarian options, and desserts were wonderful too. The beachside pizza and gyros snack bars a great addition, alongside the beach bar. The view from the hotel and restaurant was beautiful. The sharing and main pools were fantastic, and with evening entertainment suitable for the whole family. Absolutely All of the staff were wonderful. They worked so hard, but still remained very cheerful and attentive throughout. My eleven year old son said it was his best ever holiday (he loved the independence of going up for ice cream and crepes and without having to ask for money!) so a big Well done to everyone at Mitsis Family Village.

12.05.2025The hotel is situated on a hill, which was stressful to get up to. Great job that they provide towels. Lots of steps so beware of your children. Staff are very friendly. Mini market is basic but a larger one at the bottom of the hill. Buggy to the beach every 30 minutes. Great pool and great seats. Wonderful views at the sea or mountain. If your child is a picky eater please speak to a staff member and they will always accommodate you. All inclusive drinks available at the beach. Sun beds are great and comfy. Everything put together though great service, Great views and great company. Thank you.

04.06.2025In principle it is a beautiful place, there is a great view of the sea, a very nice beach and you actually get good food, good drinks and a great bonus is the always friendly and smiling staff. The extra charge as a five star hotel is a very questionable, but despite my disagreement I was assured that it is the decision of people outside the hotel. So I prefer to leave it without comment. Also, be prepared for it and enjoy your holiday.

11.06.2025Stayed here during May Half Term and we had a really great time! Firstly a really positive mention about the Kids Club Staff, Alex and Betty, they were brilliant! So friendly and engaging with our children. Our children loved going to Kids Club and always enjoyed it. Another positive mention to the restaurant staff. They worked hard and were always efficient in the running of the restaurant. Service was really great and they were always attentive and friendly. Another mention to the lovely waitress who brought around the drinks in the evening. All in all such friendly staff. Food was excellent! So much choice and everything was cooked and presented very well. I would say it’s one of the best all inclusive restaurants I have eaten in. Great drinks choice at the bar. The pancake station and pizza/gyros stations on the beach were very good. Water slides were a big hit with our children. They were kept well entertained on those. Evening entertainment was also brilliant! Plus the mini disco beforehand was loved by my 5 year old, he couldn’t wait for it to start every evening. We loved the beach and the beach buggy was incredibly handy. The only slight negatives I would say is the rooms are quite dingy and a little outdated but in the grand scheme of things, it’s not a big deal. We had a fantastic sea view from our balcony which more than made up for it. We were also a bit unprepared by the tax amount as we had read up beforehand what we should pay for a 4* but we were charged 5* rate. Not a reflection of the hotel as I understand this comes from government but hotel maybe need to communicate this better. All in all we had a really great time staying here and for what we paid, I feel it was really good value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families with kids.

22.07.2025We've been back home 1 week so thought I'd leave an honest review . The hotel was nice , we had a nice ish room We had a water leak from the room above that left our bathroom floor very wet and slippery , we told reception about it 5 times and nothing got done about it . The staff were very nice and friendly in general . The day activities were very poor and also the evening entertainment was very very poor . The beach was nice with a buggy taking you to and from the beach There is a Gyros , pizza and bar for refreshments , that is very nice . The restaurant food was very poor and repetitive , breakfast , why would you want cauliflower , broccoli and carrots for breakfast ? Lunch and evening meals There was not much that I liked , potato puree and carrot puree needed a straw as it was so runny , if it wasn't for spaghetti bolognese and I made cheese sandwiches I'd have been hungry , the desserts looked nice but didn't taste as good as they looked , i know it's Mediterranean but I've had lots of Mediterranean holidays and this was very poor. The crepe station was a nice touch but could have done with another person to help serve the ice-cream ( which was a powdery and not creamy ) as there was large queues most of the time , same at the bar mostly only 1 serving with a queue , waiting for 15 - 20 minutes , so all in all we won't return as it was a lot of money
