Krikonis Hotel Ioannina

We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but left for another hotel without a refund. We found the room too dated (rusty chauffage, moisture stains, cabinets were crooked). Our room was clearly in need of renovation. Worst of all, was that our room smelled like dog, which was untenable. The staff was super friendly and very good at English, though, and they let us check in ourselves at noon! We also noticed that the pool was along the busy lane, which did not create the desired oasis of calm for us.

Nice rooms, although a bit old. The double rooms have a great big balcony. The quadruple room is not huge but fits 4 kids (low ceiling as it's basically the attic floor). Breakfast is simple but decent. Pool is very nice addition, the kids loved it. Receptionist (Georgina) is very very kind and attentive for any request. Big supermarket (My Market) just next door so it's very convenient.

Great hotel at the suburbs of Ioannina! The question of rooms is too diverse to discuss (huge rooms with comfortable beds, but with electric sockets falling out of the wall and half of the lightbulbs not working). The convenience of location depends on your goals. However, the service beats everything - amazing, smiling, helpful, bilingual (at least). The place is recommended for sure!

The hotel was nice enough although somewhat outdated and run down; our room had several damages (an electric plug without any electricity, a towel hanger in the bathroom that kept falling down, damaged mosquito net at the window, some damage from humidity on the walls), but was kept nice and clean, and comfortable nevertheless. The breakfast buffet was nothing special - very basic. The swimming pool and pool area were very nice though, and we enjoyed it very much. The surrounding garden is nice and green, but unfortunately there’s quite a lot of noise from the big road just outside and the area in which the hotel is located is not very charming. All the staff were very friendly and service minded though, and were doing their best for us guests to enjoy our stay. Good parking facilities at the property and the internet worked fine too. Plus we really appreciate that they accepted dogs.

Terrible experience. The hotel is in very bad condition and desperate for a full renovation. We stayed 3 nights, the second the room was not cleaned and when I asked the receptionist, they didn't really care. The shower cabin was broken all over, full of mold and shower head didn't work! Last day they changed our room se we could get washed. Second room had a broken tub, with mold and no water pressure. Also we were two adults and one slept on a very narrow pop-up couch bed. Breakfast is ok. What made me angry and dissatisfied was that I asked for a discount, since they didn't deliver what they were supposed and they didn't even consider it. Doesn't worth more than 30 euros per night. Available are pictures and videos of what I mentioned. Edit: forgot to mention that our ground floor room had broken shutter on the balcony. Also, as I use a sate of art cabin shower (which of course I know how to use and keep on great shape) I'm perfectly capable of operating its when it's operatable.
