Penelope Village Mykonos

Travelers need to be warned about this place. What they advertise and what you actually get are two completely different things. The photos and descriptions looked clean, modern, and well-maintained—a complete lie. When we arrived, the room was NOTHING like the listing: The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks—mold in the shower, hair in the sink, and a stale smell throughout the entire space. Shower panel coming apart. Lucky us it didn’t shatter on us. Family rooms are up the hill (no elevator!!) - you need to climb 7 steep flight of stairs and then some to get to your door. We brought this up to management and were met with rude, dismissive attitudes. No refund, no alternative room, claiming they are fully booked (lie, as rooms were available for booking) and no apology—just “that’s what you booked.” Clearly, this place runs on deceptive advertising and preys on unsuspecting guests. Total bait and switch operation. Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are far better and honest places nearby. I’ve reported them to the booking site and will be following up with consumer protection

Beautiful place to stay while in Mykonos. Stayed here with my family for a week. The entire stay was amazing. The service was great and we were treated like family instead of guests. We were given the insights of places to visit and where to eat. Staff provided us with warm and friendly greetings in the mornings and upon our returns after every outing. Demetri and my friend (young lady with short black bob hairstyle) were exceptional.

Really nice experience! The staff is super nice and helpful, you have a beautiful view from the room and from the pool to the sea! Lot of sunbed, pool is never overcrowded, lifeguard at the pool all the time, staff is always outside to help you-small details that make a really good impression. And extra plus point- one of the nicest beaches is only 3 min to walk.

I was not satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Very poor service, the room was way too small for a 2 person room. Very poor space management inside and outside of the room. Especially the bathroom had a terrible layout and was not functional, water flows freely and everything gets wet. Salad served during breakfast was poorly washed, insects were found. Frequent power outages. The photos do not represent the actual space in the slightest.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at Penelope Hotel during my summer vacation! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome, everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The location was ideal, relatively close to Chora, but still far enough for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I spent some of my late afternoons by the pool, which was always clean and never too crowded. We had lunch at the hotel's restaurant a couple of times, in which we enjoyed fresh, neotraditional food! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended to anyone who's looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway!
