Dante's Maisonettes

Fantastic Resort with Amazing Sunrise & Sea Views I had a wonderful weeks holiday staying at this small, comfortable, & privately owned Resort. Anastasio was amazing, and couldn't do enough for me . He welcomed me with his warm kind heart, was very friendly, and extremely helpful. He organised all tours, transfers and local knowledge. My room was spacious, clean with spectacular Sunrise and Sea views from the Master Bedroom. The pool area was relaxing and overlooked the beautiful Sea. The location was perfect with fantastic local restaurants and incredible Sea. One of the most magical experiences of my life was Visiting the Shipwreck and Swimming in the Blue Caves. It was amazing value for money and I highly recommend it. I came as a guest, and left as a friend. Thank you Anastastio for a very special & memorable holiday. I looking forward to coming back. I would give have given this place a better review and more stars if I wasn’t frustrated with let’s say everything.. first off the photos look nothing like the site. The pool.. didnt look like the photos either.. but the thing that frustrated me the most was that the key was legit welded into the socket thing so you cannot leave the AC running when you leave.. after a day out, you walk into a sauna and it takes two hours for the villa to cool off.. it’s just frustrating. The location wasn’t bad but to pay what you pay and not able to the AC on when you leave because the key is welded in and is so frustrating.

Amazing stay, amazing location, host and facilities! We arrived and the owner, Tasos, gave us a very warm welcome and guided us to the pool and to our maisonette and talked to us about several important information for our stay in the island with suggestions. We booked a maisonette which was very clean, well equipped with a stunning view. The location is ideal, 20 mins. drive from the city center and 10 mins. drive from touristic area of Tsilivi, however, the beach in front of Dante's is unique, quiet and super clean and crystal waters. During our stay, we enjoyed the relaxing pool having some drinks, while Tasos is a very good cook. I would totally recommend the fish on the grill he is doing (you need to let him know in advance), and he has some lovely Greek dishes, such as mousaka, gemista (stuffed tomatoes and peppers), and sometimes he has beef in red sauce which was super tender and tasty. Beautiful island, we will visit again and for sure we will be staying in Dante's again!

firstly the host is an incredible man. He speaks well english and is open to give his clients advices. Other than big corporations- he takes care of his clients and gets to know them as people. He also cooks well and is there to help when you need him. Now for the apartments- they are clean and cozy- the guest may get the vibe of being in a real greek room. The cleaning lady come around often to keep even the flowers hydrated. The pool is climatic and well taken care of. Even if you as a guest make a mistake, the host will try to help you as well as he can. The view is out of ordinary and the greek landscape wakes you up every day. I would recommend it for everyone who looks for a really home atmosphere and a time not to forget.

The person running this place reminded me of my grandpa who would always come after me for leaving lights on too long or telling me we don’t need AC he’s very cheap he told us don’t have the ac on too low wouldn’t allow us to leave the ac on while we left for a couple hours so when we would come back to our room it was very hot and it took 2 hours for the place to cool off making it uncomfortable for us…we needed sheets he gave them to us and said “have the girl make the bed” like she works for him or something..very 1950s mentality wouldn’t recommend staying even if it was €1 a night
