Onyx Hotel & Suites

We had the most amazing stay at Onyx Hotel Santorini. The entire property is stunning! Beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful. Our room was spacious and quiet, with a huge, comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the mornings. The private jacuzzi was such a treat and it was so nice to hop in at night and overlook the pool, watching all of the lights sparkle. The pool itself was refreshing with plenty of sun lounges to relax on, and breakfast each morning was delicious with a great variety of options. Every staff member we encountered was genuinely kind and helpful, but a special mention goes to Denisa and Victoria from the front office team. They were honestly two of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. So helpful, warm, and friendly - giving us just the right amount of information without being overwhelming. You can tell they truly care about making your stay special. We were also lucky enough to meet the owners during our stay, and they were just as lovely, which really speaks to the atmosphere they’ve created at Onyx. Its a 1.5km walk to the closest town, so I highly recommend hiring a car or quad. We had ours already sorted as we had wanted to explore the whole island, but the hotel can help organise one at great rates, and they’ll even take care of the pickup and drop-off. Could not recommend this place more - truly a standout stay in our whole Greece trip!

I LOVE THE ONYX HOTEL WITH ALL MY HEART!!! I did NOT want to leave! The rooms were gorgeous! I was the most confident in the daily cleaning than I’ve been at any hotel I’ve ever stayed. You can smell the cleanliness and visibly see where they cleaned the bathroom, toilet, shower— everyday! The staff were extremely sweet and helpful. They were eager to accommodate you and help you book anything from taxis to tours. The staff was all around warm and welcoming. The location is only 8-10min walking distance from restaurants but you can always choose to rent a bike or atv (staff also helps with this as well). I honestly had no worries and I was a very happy camper. 10/10 recommend!

Honestly can’t recommend Onyx Hotel enough, what an amazing find for the price! It’s tucked away in a really calm, peaceful location which made it feel like a total escape, but still just 5 minutes from the airport which was so convenient. They had a hotel taxi service you can book whenever you need it, and it always arrived within 15 minutes. The rooms were a real surprise, spacious, modern, and just really well done. Everything felt clean, fresh, and comfortable. But what really made the stay special was the staff. Lisa on the bar had so much energy and was always so welcoming, it honestly felt like seeing a friend every day. Even when we came back for an extra night at the end of our trip, she was just as happy to see us again! Emmanuel (the owner), Denisa on reception, and Victoria were all amazing too, really personable, couldn’t do enough to help us, and gave such great local recommendations with honest opinions, which we genuinely appreciated. All round, a five-star stay. We’ll definitely be going back.

From the moment we arrived it felt like we were in paradise. From the incredible service from all the staff to the delightful room and amenities, we enjoyed our stay tremendously. With a short walk to get into the main town Fira or a very friendly transfer arranged by the hotel, Onyx is in a prime spot to have a very peaceful stay and still feel close to the hustle and bustle. 10/10 would recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay at Onyx! Denisa was the best and took such good care of us. We really felt like we were special guests because of how attentive she was. Rooms were roomy and clean! Pool was fantastic especially after hot summer days! Be prepared to bus or taxi most places from here. The hotel was great about helping schedule taxis or figure out how to get places.
