Molfetta Beach Hotel

The Molfetta Beach Hotel was a lovely, quaint place to stay. Me and my boyfriend stayed there for 5 nights in June and it was perfect for us. We had a kind and warm welcome by the staff at the front desk, they were more then willing to give us help and advice with travel and good places to go! The Hotel itself was beautiful, the walls were covered in pretty flowers and plants. Our room was clean and simple. We had a balcony where we could see some of the sea which was nice. Breakfast didn’t close until 11 which was nice as you could have a lie in! There was a decent choice of food which you could eat outside and enjoy the sun ! There is a large bar\restaurant area just outside the hotel which was decorated beautifully and it was especially pretty at night. There are plenty of seats available and some of them look over sea. On Monday they had professional Latin dancers as entertainment. The atmosphere was great and they were enjoyable to watch. There is also the beach right outside the hotel. The beach starts off sandy and then does get a bit pebbly closer to the sea. The beach has multiple different loungers with umbrellas. Ours cost €20 which was 100% worth it as you get it for the entire day and you can leave it to get food and come back. As well as this you can order drinks and food from the lounger and it gets served to you. The views from the beach were stunning. Additionally the hotel was surrounded by loads of different bars and restaurants meaning there was no urgency to travel far for food or drinks. There was such a friendly, peaceful atmosphere where we were in Gouvia, it was perfect for a romantic holiday for two !!!

My husband and I loved the Molfetta Hotel. Absolutely wonderful location close to the local beach with beautiful views. Their staff were very friendly and helpful answering our many questions. The breakfast is available for 3 hours and has many food and drink choices; we especially enjoyed the sweet breads and cappuccinos. We rented a sea view room which indeed had a beautiful view and a good size balcony complete with table and chairs; it was perfect for my morning yoga. The room itself was basic, but had everything we needed including AC and a mini fridge. The bed was definitely smaller and harder than we're used to in the USA, but we slept well nevertheless. The bathroom had a sink, toilet and shower which had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Also, our room was cleaned daily and the grounds are well kept as well. The beach, several restaurants, markets, souvenir shops and bus stops are all within a few minutes walk. Overall, this is a wonderful 3 star hotel to spend your holiday. We cannot wait to return!

I would not recommend staying in this hotel. The breakfast is horrible, small, lacks of fresh vegetables. The restaurant that they are showing on the pictures is a restaurant, not a place where you have breakfast. Me and my friend were given two very different rooms although we paid for the same room category. The rooms were a bit tired, beds weren’t comfy. The staff was nice and they were cleaning quite well. The price of the hotel doesn’t worth it.

If you're looking for the Hilton this isn't the place for you. Molfetta is a classic greek building. There is no pool but you are a 30 second walk to the beach. Recently stayed here for the week with my family. The staff are absolutely lovely they are super helpful, friendly and make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and basic but well equipped. Would definitely recommend. Quiet at night. Mini Markets, bakery and restaurant within 1 minutes walking distance. About 15 minutes from Corfu town there is a bus for a couple of euros or a taxi for 25 euros. Will definitely visit again, all the locals were so friendly.

Did not enjoy staying here. Rooms were very tired, no kettle nor iron as advised had to ask for them, very rude gentleman on desk when asked for kettle. AC dumped water in room as we did not empty water container on balcony. Restaurant now separate from hotel, rude staff and very expensive, loud music but very techno music not easy to listen to. Food expensive for what you get. Do not recommend staying. Great location but staff require customer service training. Housekeeping were fine.
