Ideal location, close to the harbour, the old city, the bus to Knossos and the bus terminal. Very helpful receptionists. The view during breakfast is fabulous. Lots of choice from the buffet. The rooms aren't too big but after all you don't come here to sit all day in a room. Very reasonable price.

The location is excellent — close to the harbor, city center, and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Great spot if you want to explore Heraklion on foot. The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was quick. Breakfast is served in a restaurant with a beautiful panoramic view, which we really enjoyed. However, the food itself could be more diversified — it was decent but somewhat repetitive over multiple days

Location and view of the breakfast room are good. The ceiling height of rooms are good, high, but the area size of the room is small, no matter what direction of the wind you set for the air conditioning, the wind will get reflected again into your eyes and you will feel dry or itchy eyes, not much space to walk inside the room. The toilet-shower is like a telephone kiosk, if you are more than thin, your body touches around in the shower part. The room was labelled as double, but I would say it can only be used as a single room, not suitable for a couple at all. They didn't even bother to check the TV is connected or not, for the first few days I thought their TV receiver has issue, but later when I was going to unplug the TV from electricity to put my laptop to electricity, I noticed the TV cable is not connected to TV, if you connect it, then you can actually see a few channels, otherwise nothing. I think if they check rooms carefully, they would see these simple things, at least they never turn on the TV once a while to check if the remote's battery and other things work fine and then notice the TV cable is not connected? Also as I said no electricity other than for the TV plug next to the table, there is only above your head on bed. Maybe only this room was like this, but in general it is a pretty standard guess that many guests would have laptop and would need electricity near the table (not healthy to work with your laptop in bed). But finally, the receptionist is kind, but not honest. When I checked in he said breakfast is included into your room and the time is 6 to 11, even though I didn't ask about breakfast, so he said himself. I asked him, are you sure? He said, yes. So the next morning I went to breakfast, and the lady there said, no it is not included into your room and asked me to sign a receipt to pay later. When the receptionist of check-in time came to his shift, I went and told him that yesterday you said the breakfast is included..., he didn't let me continue and said, no sir, I said it is NOT included. ^_^ I don't think he could forget what he said the day before, because 1- he said it himself, 2- I asked him are you sure and he said it for the second time. So in any case, I found this a little non-honest and tricky. I didn't argue, I said ok and paid, but one breakfast payment this way is not worth loosing a customer for the next time. I would say if that not completely honest conversation/behavior had not happened and the room size was a bit bigger, I would return to this hotel next time, which is not the case, so I would not return to this hotel.

We stayed twice at this hotel. It is very convinient location, near the city center and main bus station in Heraklion. The hotel has a great view on the sea and harbour. The breakfast is delicious and fresh. The fresh orange juice is also offered as a part of breakfast beverages. The breakfast room on the top floor offer an extraordinary view! The rooms /beds are really confortable. Hotel location is the best for exploring city as well as for the overnight stay and continue journey around the island. We spent one night in June this year. This time we decide to visit rhe Archeological museum which is a five minutes walking distance from the hotel. I recommend this hotel for s city break, visiting Knosos and Heraklion itself.
