Luwian Athens Boutique Hotel

This was my second time staying at Luwian Athens Boutique Hotel - and once again, I was very pleased. I chose this place for its modern style, cleanliness, and great location close to all the main attractions in Athens. The space feels fresh, well-designed, and has a touch of luxury. Special thanks to the staff: the doorman was very kind and even crossed the street to help me with my luggage. The receptionist, Limonia, was truly lovely -friendly, attentive, and recommended a wonderful local restaurant with a traditional vibe that turned out to be fantastic. A few downsides: at night, the motion sensor light turns on automatically when you get up, which is quite frustrating, especially if you’re just going to the bathroom. I couldn’t find a way to disable it. The hotel is advertised as pet-friendly, but the rooftop restaurant’s attitude toward dogs depends on the staff. Last time, they allowed me to sit in a corner with my dog. This time, they said the dog had to stay in a bag and didn’t even offer a bowl of water. That felt disappointing. Dogs are part of our lives and should be treated with respect, especially in a place that claims to be pet-friendly. Aside from that, it’s a solid choice for a stylish and comfortable stay in Athens ❤️

The Luwian was such a wonderful way to end our time in Greece. The staff was phenomenal and friendly and helped us navigate the train station easily. The rooms were clean, large and very modern and new. It was very close to the city center and could walk to everything. Our entire family of 12 really enjoyed the stay and will be staying here again upon our return.

Staff are lovely rooms are very nice but location is terrible in the sense of safety not proximity. If you are a solo traveller especially female I wouldn’t go out close to the hotel late at night. I caught Ubers right to the front of the hotel each night. Again lovely hotel and staff are wonderful

I had a great, two-night stay at the end of May. I went for a work trip and was happy to be in a central area for getting to the conference but also close enough downtown to enjoy the sights in the evening. The hotel had everything I needed, comfortable bed, good shower pressure, good internet, quiet. The breakfast was extensive and the restaurant for lunch was great. The staff was incredibly friendly. Overall, a great experience. I only had a slight issue with the format of the shower as it had no walls so things tended to get and stay wet. A minor concern as everything was tile and dried fast.

I can't praise the staff, room, service and location enough. The staff are absolutely lovely, they all have a smile on their face, they're prepared to say hi and ask about your day, they remember the coffee I like to drink so they're extremely attentive. The cleaner was absolutely superb with me when I asked for replacement lotion, hand wash, conditioner and body soap. I can't thank the staff enough. My room was large in size, immaculately clean, there's a coffee machine, coffee capsules, two bottles of water (these are replaced daily), fridge, I was able to work out in my room (I'm 6"4 so you can imagine the size of the room), the bathroom was sublime, the bed is extremely comfortable as well. The service is immaculate, I've had no issues whatsoever. The location of the hotel is fantastic, it's near Omonia square, prime location, in the middle of the city. I can't praise this hotel and everything in it enough. This hotel is fantastic 😊
