Lato Annex Boutique Rooms

We loved our short stay at Lato Annex Boutique Hotel. The staff was gracious, the rooms well appointed, and they let us box some breakfast for an early ferry. Well done!

It’s not so pet friendly at this hotel, they charge €25 Euro for a tiny clean dog that doesn’t even malt, that’s excessive on a €40 Euro room, there’s many other hotels offering free pet stay. How ridiculous especially in low season, must be struggling.. don’t advertise yourself as pet friendly when you only want to over charge people for their pets, Crazy!

I visited in the off season so prices were super cheap. The annex has no front desk so checking in is across the street at the main hotel lobby and so is breakfast. For parking, Lato has a deal with the Heraklion port so you can park at the port parking lot for free which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You show your keycard to get access/entry to the parking lot. The rooms are very typical European style where there is just enough space for the bed and your luggage. The bathroom is just enough space for toilet and shower. I didn’t mind it at all since I was only there to sleep and shower. I would recommend a stay! The location is very conveniently located within walking distance to the town square/city center!

Whether I needed assistance with directions or recommendations for local restaurants, the staff at Lato Annex Boutique Rooms was happy to help. Overall, I would highly recommend Lato Annex Boutique Rooms to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in the city of Iraklio. The atmosphere is elegant and the service is top-notch. I will definitely be returning in the future. Five stars!

Rooms are lovely there is a kettle and items for tea and coffee and a mini fridge for cold drinks. Airconditioning not the best but the beds are very comfortable.
