Akis Hotel Santorini

This is truly a gem of a hotel, the service was immaculant and friendly. I was welcomed with open arms like nothing else. I didn't expect this for a 2 - star hotel, this hotel in my books is 5-star because of the friendly staff, room is great and that everything is super close. They had an amazing pool and the room were in excellent condition. I did get a visitor in the balcony, the sweetest kitty came. She is such a sweetheart and I couldn't stop myself and fall in love with her. I did buy her some food and gave her fresh water. For the next people taking over my room, plis be kind as she is the sweetest. She doesn't like being held or touched on the face as she is blind in one eye. She will greet you gently and meow flirty.

Akis Hotel is a wonderful place for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. It’s just a short walk from the beach and conveniently close to markets and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a refrigerator for added comfort. What truly sets this hotel apart is the warm and friendly staff. The owner, Akis, goes out of his way to make sure every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

5 star staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Google and hotels.com said this is a 2 star hotel however compared to other 2 star hotels I’ve been to, this is a hidden gem of a hotel. It is in a great location, close to nearby facilities like a laundromat, bakery, shops and the beach. The rooms were spacious and modern without the large price tag. Akis, his wife and his new receptionist are such lovely people and welcoming and made our visit to Kamari wonderful.

Mr Akis is very kind and the rooms he offers in the hotel contain all the basic things you need at vacation - nice bed, clean linen and towels, daily cleaning, fridge, AC, hair drier, nice terrace for eating. The location is amazing, very close to the beach, car/motor rental, bus station, markets, bakery, restaurant. mr Akis is ready to help with anything and provides tips which places to visit. The house cat is extremely cute☺️ if we come back to Santorini, we would definitely choose this place again ☺️

Good if you're on a tight budget but lots more places that are better. I didn't stay here myself but my relatives did and they had lots of problems, especially with the air conditioning which is a must in Greece at the time of the year. Note that this hotel also does not have a swimming pool. However, it's close enough to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.
