Aegean Houses Kos

Great place to base yourself in Kos. Car and bike hire nearby. Easy walk into old town.

Hotel is at a convenient location, minutes walk to the beach, however 20 minutes walk to old town, which we didn’t mind. Rooms were good. Special mention to the night receptionist, very helpful guy, not so much the reception ladies during the day. The bartender is sweet too.

This hotel deserves a good review. The staff at the desk, the cleaners in our room, the bartender, all extremely friendly. We called to ask if our room could ne ready earlier, and if we could get a room close to the playground and they helped us right away. The rooms are clean and the big hotel room with an extra room was perfect for our kids. We had a great stay on Kos and the hotel definitely helped. Special thanks to the bartender - he really makes sure his guests are having a great time. If I ever visit kos again, I know what hotel I'll choose.

We love The Aegean Houses. its our go to holiday. We are back for our 3rd time this year [2024]. We stayed in room 329 in August 2023 and it was just great, a spacious room for 2 adults and 2 kids, clean and great views over pool and quiet balcony. The staff are amazing it's like seeing family again when you return everyone is so welcoming. Kirus the barman, Stavros, George and Polly all great and friendly. The pool is great, tho there was a small bit of confusion with the sunbeds and availability when we stayed but this seemed to sort itself out [maybe sunbeds allocated to rooms may help] The restaurant is great for snacks, and main meals, with a good selection all cooked fresh to order. The bar has a great selection of beer and cocktails. The pool is big enough for everyone to have a fun time. The whole complex is clean and tidy and ideally situated for the beach, about a 10 min walk and about a 25 min walk to Kos Town. Cannot fault this hotel and most importantly the staff. Everyone is really out to do their best for all guests. Super friendly. The cleanliness is second to none. The food offered is delicious, and portion sizes are value for money. They take their time to get to know each guest and their preferences, and will know your name within a day. The location is great for Kos town (10-15minutes wander) several lovely small restaurants close by if you want to eat out. 2 big supermarkets close by (one over the road). Beach is 5 minute walk with plenty of beach clubs. Plenty of bike and car hire places a stones throw, as well as a cash machine. 3 star officially but for me the staff and cleanliness make it 5.
