Well firstly I will say dont believe all you read on these reviews, obviously some people are very hard to please. This hotel certainly is a 4 star, the rooms are perfect with all you need for your stay. Cleaned daily fresh towels and bedding. All the staff very welcoming and happy to help anyway possible, shout out to Andreass, Elvris, both made our holiday with entertainment and drinks factor. Location is ideal short walk in to Sisi port where there is also plenty of food places to visit. We had no issues getting sun beds, pool was perfect. I would visit here again in a heart beat absolutely brilliant thankyou to all at Costello village. Anyone considering a visit go for it.

Attention, stay, reception, pool, meals… everything was great. People working at hotel have been kindly and they have tried to understand us in every situation that we have asked. If I come back to Crete, sure I will come back to stay on this hotel. Thanks for all your attention.

It’s probably 3.5 for me but went for four stars. Room was adequate and cleaned most days with fresh towels and a/c. The food was very good. The staff all very friendly although clearly stretched with the pool bars not opening until 11am ish and not being allowed to drink your own water by the pool seemed unfair during hot temperatures. I enjoyed some water polo (could do with some actual goals rather than chairs) the pool was excellent. The entertainment was good on the evenings, particularly Andreas was a highlight who made everything really good fun especially when the internet dropped out regularly during karaoke nights. I would revisit this hotel and certainly Sissi, a beautiful place it is.

Lovely hotel with very good food. Not the best place if you like silence. The swimming pool is great but quite busy. The rooms are basic with not much natural ventilation.

The impressions from the stay at the hotel were great. A housekeeper Vjollca from Albania she was great. She was cleaning our rooms perfect, she was also very nice, polite a kind lady. Everything what we asked ( towels etc) we got from her. Such a nice a hardworking lady we never met in any hotel while we were travelling. The hotel can be proud to have an employee like her . There is one "but" though. A gentleman named Ervis from Albania works in the hotel restaurant. He is very uncultured and rude. Besides, the older lady who also works there (I don't remember the name Sevi or Savi) is also not very polite. I understand that this gentleman may be the boss in this restaurant, but when I was there for breakfast or dinner I felt trapped, and another guests too.so . A little more tact would be useful for these gentlemen because they are there for the guests, not the guests for them. And the downright intrusive looking, checking "whatever happens", downright stalking is not pleasant. People dont feel comfortable eating breakfast or dinner in such an atmosphere. And besides, I understand that they don't serve any drinks for dinner because they want to earn money, but paying for water is a bit too much.
