Villa Elite

The hotel has recently been renovated. Rooms are spacious, but no stove in the kitchen (that's a pity, because the space would allow it for sure). The terrace is really nice, but the pool is maybe located in a spot which in my opinion is too hidden and shady. The staff was helpful, a special mention to Giuly, our amazing host!

The worst hotel I have seen in a while! I highly recommend avoiding "Villa Elite" (scam). Upon our arrival, We found that the room assigned to us did not match the photos on the website. Several elements differed significantly, such as the light in the room, bathroom size, cleanliness, missing amenities, and the furniture. These discrepancies between reality and the online description constitute a clear deception. Furthermore, this issue seems to have been experienced by other guests as well, which was confirmed by the host on-site. The host blamed Booking.com for this situation, and we were forced to find another hotel urgently for our stay. Left all to ourselves, we struggled to find a place to stay, especially as we did not speak the native language. Moreover, considering the quality of the rooms and the overall establishment, the price is unreasonably high. In summary, this hotel absolutely does not meet the expectations created by the photos and descriptions online. It was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. I strongly recommend looking for other options if you plan to stay in this area of Crète.

Villa Elite - A Hidden Gem in Koutouloufari Our stay at Villa Elite turned out to be a wonderful experience, despite an initial hiccup. Due to an error on TUI's end, our booking hadn't been properly processed. However, the manager, Kostas, went above and beyond to ensure we had a room. His reassurance and proactive approach made us feel safe and valued as guests during what could have been a stressful situation. The room itself was a pleasant surprise - beautifully renovated with modern amenities and comfort in mind. It's clear that the owners take pride in maintaining high standards for their accommodations. One of the highlights of Villa Elite is undoubtedly its bar area and the breathtaking view it offers. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink, the panoramic vistas provide a stunning backdrop that truly enhances the holiday experience. Special mention goes to Julia, the talented bartender, whose expertise in cocktails, warm smile, and engaging presence made every night at the bar a memorable occasion. The village of Koutouloufari itself is a charming discovery. Its picturesque streets, traditional architecture, and warm atmosphere make it a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. We can't conclude this review without expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Kostas and his wonderful colleagues. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care for guests made our stay truly memorable. If you're looking for a combination of beautiful accommodations, stunning views, and exceptional service in a charming Cretan village, Villa Elite in Koutouloufari is an excellent choice.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Fantastic location. Close to lots of lovely local restaurants. Check out nikos the fisherman. Brilliant location. Easy 15 min walk down to the busier main strip if that's your thing. Lovely rooftop bar. Just quiet when we were there. I rated the rooms slightly lower as if you get a non recently renovated one they are quite basic.
