It’s the first time that we ever been greeted in a hotel with a reprimand! Upon our arrival at the hotel, the first thing we’ve been told by Kosta was not « Welcome » but « I don’t know why did you park like this?! ». I’d like to clarify that our car was properly parked within the lines, with plenty of space left for the cars next to us. There were 4 of us, and we had all booked the breakfast-included option. One of us is gluten-intolerant, which had been clearly specified during the booking process, and we had been assured this would be taken into account. At breakfast, we asked if there was any gluten-free bread. Kosta curtly replied: “No, no, no, we don’t do this here.” We insisted, and eventually had to negotiate something that had already been agreed upon in advance, before Kosta finally accepted to make the effort for the next day. This kind of attitude made communication very uncomfortable. In the apartment: the towels shed lint all over the skin, there was no hot water on the first night, and the soundproofing was non-existent. Sleeping in the living room was nearly impossible due to the noise within the residence. That being said, there were some positive aspects: the room was pretty, the balcony had a lovely view, and the pool area was pleasant. In conclusion, we had read many positive reviews, especially about the welcoming staff. We are sorry that we did not have the chance to experience this ourselves. We only dealt with Kosta, and it was difficult to even get a smile from him. We read a response from the establishment addressing this issue, stating that judging an employee based on a “personal feeling” was unfair. However, in hospitality, the guest’s perception is precisely what matters most. And to echo what a previous guest already said: it’s okay not to be warm or friendly… but perhaps hospitality isn’t the right field to work in.

In a few words, it’s a gem located on an elevated ground tucked between the sea and a mountain (with quiet and great views), Anna being the host is very kind and super easy to communicate with, and the accommodation is just what you need: a lovely apartment on three floors, balconies, AC, and a fantastic shared pool. Great value, and would love to go back.

Nice hotel, a good base for trips. Clean rooms with moldy air conditioning. Breakfast is an additionaly paid for 10 euros per adult. At the first breakfast we were not informed that we could order hot food. By accident we heard other hotel guests ordering omelettes, cheese and ham. when we asked for ham and cheese for 4 people, we got half a piece per person. When we asked for more, we heard that it was not unlimited. We also asked for an omelette for a two-year-old and the answer was the same and that children are not entitled to get hot food, even though it is written in the regulations that there is no charge for children. I do not recommend this place and we do not greet the bald gentleman from the staff who behaves strangely and mutters something under his breath all the time. In our opinion, such people should not work with people.

We loved the fact that our apartment was in a nice location with a beautiful view. It was in a more village-style area, which we appreciated because we were not right in the midst of the loud, busy city area of the town. The apartment was not only very comfortable and spacious, but it also had an authentic, Greek style to complete the full Greek experience. In addition, everyone was so kind and friendly, making us feel welcome everywhere. Fit with a small kitchen and a pool that makes it a perfect stay for families. Highly recommend for anyone.

Clean, cute and simple apartments. We felt very welcome by Kostas, who is doing everything there. From breakfast to check in to cocktails, etc. :) The service is great and Piskopiano is also a cute little village where you get everything. Supermarket is very close by and the restaurants were all pretty good :) When we will come back to Crete, this will be our destination for sure. Thanks again!
