Caldera Premium Villas Santorini

The view from this hotel is the most beautiful we’ve ever had from any hotel room. From the moment we arrived it took our breath away… not just literally from the many steps you have to climb. The hotel itself is unique with many small independent apartments built in the traditional style. We visited in April and the weather was just right, plus not too many crowds. The air con in the room was perfect for taking the chill off and also heating a bit at night when it went cold! Also despite what other people say, there's plenty of parking available for free as long as you don’t try to park just before sunset! The parking is signposted sunset parking and is about a 10 min walk away from this hotel right through oia town centre. The staff were very nice, kind and patient. Especially the lady who served us breakfast every day, and the man who carried our cases!! Thank you for making my 40th birthday extra special, it’s something I will always remember.

Great hotel, incredible view (better than what you will see from most places in Oia but without the crowds) especially from the hot tub as part of our room. (Our hot tub was a great temperature) Sometimes the local cats will come and sit on the edge of the outdoor areas and really add to the view and relaxed experience. Yes there are lots of steps but you get used to them pretty quickly as much of Oia is steps. (Worth considering if you have knee problems etc) - the porters carried our luggage to and from our room and reception, and from the bus station to the hotel reception both ways. Anna who runs the breakfast was very kind and helpful, especially to my wife who does not eat gluten (coeliac/celiac) making sure she was looked after. Breakfast was great, and the view from breakfast even better. The room was great, clean with beautiful smooth white walls and kept cool with AC. As a general summary - if you want the opportunity to enjoy the views of Santorini and the Caldera in peace at your own leisure this hotel is perfect. Watching the small boats, wind over the water and the sense of scale and history as you look at the volcano were well worth it.

Due to the recent earthquakes, I had to cancel our stay here. But the staff at this hotel were so nice and accommodating about issuing me a refund for my non-refundable booking. I hope to stay there in the future when things get better.

I absolutely loved my stay at Caldera Premium Villas. We were welcomed by the host with lemonade from our flight. We were delighted to have someone assist us with our luggage down the stairs which are extremely steep to get to the hotel as you would expect for the location. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the location is a great spot on the main walkway of Oia. There are many restaurants, cafes and shopping just up the stairs from the villa. The pool is quiet and charming, and breakfast was included also delightful. They had pancakes one day, and french toast another with plenty of bakery items, coffee, toast, and eggs. Perfect for a light breakfast with the breathtaking views. The rooms are so cute and are literally inside of a cave. The rooms are a good size, and housekeeping does an excellent job every day. I will absolutely stay here again if I am ever back in Santorini. I don't recommend staying here if you are not keen of stairs.
