Blue Mare Villas Paros

I absolutely loved our stay. The owners are very accommodating and welcoming. You feel like you are at home in the villas. Very spacious and clean. The pool and bar area is gorgeous and great place to wind down and relax. I can go on and on about our stay here. Highly recommend. Location is convenient, short drive to the beach and town.

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Mare! The owners are there daily and thier attention to detail is seen. From the breakfast buffet music, outdoor showers, decor, shaded parking etc. The construction and view is perfection. Our family of 5 had a very spacious villa and will return! This is THE place.

The experience felt like staying at a friend’s house, except you didn’t invite that friend on your vacation. While Iliana clearly meant to be an attentive hostess, her approach became uncomfortably overbearing. This was particularly surprising given that we were only at the villa during breakfast hours. What concerned me most was how she interacted with my two-year-old son, despite his obvious discomfort. Every morning, she would demand a kiss from him and repeatedly touch him, even when he clearly wasn’t interested. I understand that Greek culture celebrates children, but there’s a way to show warmth without crossing boundaries or being intrusive. The invasiveness extended beyond just my son. On our fifth day, while I was having breakfast with him, Iliana hovered so close in my personal space that I had to ask her to step back. This was the second time she was intrusive in 10 minutes. She also had a habit of inserting herself into private family moments. When my son was bonding with his grandparents by the pool, she would uninvitedly plop down on the chairs with them, interrupting what should have been intimate family time. This happened repeatedly. I recognize this is a family-run business, but at over $900 per night, I expect to enjoy my family vacation without feeling like I’ve gained an uninvited houseguest. As for the villa (ammos), I recommend booking one of their newer villas if you decide to stay here. Ammos is old, subterranean, and has tired furniture and linens. We didn’t have hot showers for our last 3 days and could hear our neighbors above us when we were trying to sleep. Their listings on the travel websites only show their new villas, which is not what ours looked like in person.

Super friendly staff. We were greeted by the staff as soon as stepped out of our car. Delicious and fresh breakfast. The location is ideal for those that want to explore Paros. Kid friendly. Highly recommended.
