Arkadi Hotel Chania

I have a critique to make, but first, I want to say that the hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent, and it's also above the best café in the city (Monogram). However, after arriving to the room, I noticed that there was no toilet paper in the room. Mistakes happen; we are all human. I called the reception, and the lady had me search the room for the toilet paper. When I confirmed that there was none, she told me to come down to pick it up because she was alone. I find it in very poor taste that, having made the mistake of not providing toilet paper, the hotel would then make the guest go and fetch it. I hope this critique helps improve the way customer service is provided because, truly, the hotel is very good.

A 3-star hotel that puts some 4-stars to shame, amazing value for your money. The hotel is located in the centre of Chania, a short walk to old town, the harbour and the bus station which gives you access to so much more of Crete (4€ will get you to and back from more beaches than you’ll ever need) A quick run-through: Great view of the square in front of the hotel depending on your choice of room and a little luck, clean, great service, great air conditioning, great breakfast buffet that varies slightly every day (though even if it didn’t, you’d still have options) nice showers, comfortable beds and a TV with access to Youtube great for a chill lay down. The staff at reception were friendly and always had an answer. We’d often ask them how to get to place X we heard about, and we’d always get multiple options. If you’re lucky you’ll meet Michalis at the reception who was always happy to help, whether asking for recommendations, travel advice or bandages. He made sure we always left the hotel knowing where to go and when. A great person. The hotel also let us store our belongings after check out, so we could explore the city on our last day without dragging 30kg of luggage with us. Even more, we were given the chance to shower after checking out, which ment we could still go to the beach without worrying about sitting on the plane covered in sand and salt. You will not regret staying here.

Great Hotel option at Chania. Connection to public transportation was very easy. Location is perfect for visiting the city center and the room was very comfortable.

Everything working like normally needed and there was very good kindly customer services. Spot was super good also, just in the middle at Hania city.
