Alta Vista Suites Santorini

lovely views and great location. lots of restaurants and shops located nearby. the included breakfast is good but more importantly the view from your bistro table makes it all worth it. if you leave as early as we did (around 830), you will not be able to have the included breakfast so keep that in mind. though it may be called honeymoon suites (and this fact is repeated/advertised multiple times), be prepared to be surrounded by children splashing in the pool and taking up a lot of the small shared space. it is not really relaxing nor fitting for what the vibe is described to be. i would actually argue that if a place has the descriptor of being 5 honeymoon suites with only king beds, i would assume it is for adults. i want to recognize that this was our assumption and our fault for thinking that, but i do think people should be warned who may want to come here on their honeymoon like we did or on a romantic vacation to relax. i also want to note that this isn’t the family’s fault at all, just something to consider.

George was an amazing host, he was extremely welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, however, there were a few noises at night coming from outside but we still managed to sleep well. The breakfast looked beautiful but didn't taste amazing. The stairs leading to the suites are quite steep and the area is unlit at night- so just be careful. The bus stop to fira is a walk away, or you could walk there in minutes, you can also hike to oia from fira but wear hiking shoes as there is no support or barriers near the mountains and the rocks become slippery! But the views are incredible! ☺️⛰️ The views from our room was incredible, the pool was lovely and cooling (perfect for a hot sunny day) At night everything is beautiful and lite up. Overall, I would definitely recommend Alta Vista suites.

I had an amazing stay at Alta Vista Suites. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, one of the best in Santorini. Watching the sunset from my balcony was an unforgettable experience. The food was delicious, with a great selection for breakfast that I enjoyed every morning while admiring the stunning scenery. But what really made my stay special was the exceptional service. The manager, who always wore sunglasses and a checkered shirt, was incredibly kind and attentive. He even helped me carry my luggage, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a place with spectacular views, great food, and top-notch service, I highly recommend Alta Vista Suites. I would definitely stay here again!

We had the most amazing stay with Alta Vista Suites! The Bebe suite was situated right outside the pool, which was perfect and offered the most incredible views. The room/bathroom was a bit snug but was clean and comfortable. The location is perfectly situated so that you are close to many restaurants and able to walk most places. Only negative was the breakfast could be better and when checking in the person there really gave us no information about the properly, where to go, offer to get taxis etc however we witnessed different staff do this for other guests. Eduarto was fantastic, carrying our bags up and down the caldera steps and also keeping an eye on the property so we felt safe.

Great organization - the nice welcoming and fast, easy check in - the stunning view - the perfect location close to many facilites but far from the crowd - the professionalism and kindness of the breakfast team. Lovely Lady and Gentleman always smiling and supportive - the clean room - the tips who made our stay even more special. Restaurants and boat trip. We are so happy!! I highly recommend it
