After the guests have
been picked up from resort, we head up to the small mountain village of Agalas,
which is situated on the west coast of Zakynthos and is surrounded by pine
trees and olive groves. The architecture of the village is old stone houses and narrow streets.
First
we visit the Wells of Andronios and learn the local legend.
At
the next stop you will be to take in the breath taking view over the mountains
and sea and will give you the opportunity to take some memorable photos from
Plakaki viewpoint.
Then
we go into the centre of the village to visit the church and see some of the
oldest traditional houses.
We
now head out to the unusual Damianos Caves, which are set on the hillside
virtually opposite the Wells of Andronios and with more fantastic views.
Our final stop of the
tour is at the Sunset Bar, where you can experience the magical sunset over the
Ionian Sea whilst enjoying a drink or two and even a snack.
