    The perfect stay in Crete. Great location, extrafriendly staff, good room layout. Food was also excellent, with big portions. Beautiful pool, with a nice bar and restaurant. The beach and the river are also nearby. Everything was top notch.

    Can’t fault anything about this place and would highly recommend staying/visiting the River Suites. If you are looking to relax around a beautiful pool during the day whilst enjoying good food and drinks this is the place to be. The staff are outstanding, the views to die for and atmosphere is very chilled. Almiros beach is a short walk down a few steps if you want to take a dip in the sea and a 5 minute taxi ride to town. I will definitely be returning!!

    A perfect stay from start to finish. The room was clean, cozy, and equipped, creating a peaceful atmosphere. What truly stood out was the staff! incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our visit special. We felt genuinely cared for and would happy return.

    The River is a hidden gem offering quality food and the perfect setting for quality time by the swimming pool. Since it’s adults-only, it has a precious sense of tranquillity and a lovely vibe, complemented by great, relaxing summer music. Mania and the whole team are very attentive and helpful, making it a wonderfully relaxing destination. We had booked a half-board hotel in another nearby location, but we ended up coming to The River every day instead. The pool is also large, and it’s the kind of place where you can happily spend the entire day.

    This is the absolute place to stay in the area. Great rooms, especially the suites with the balcony pools. The resort provides a huge pool, a cozy bar restaurant with exceptional food and a couple of steps further, connects you with the great sandy beach of Almiros. What a combination!!!
