We stayed one night and it was a very charming place. We booked through booking and although the pictures were slightly different to what we booked, the room was still really nice and cosy. It was clean and well kept. The people who owned it are lovely people and can’t do enough for you. The breakfast was amazing and home made in the kitchen in front of you (the apple pie especially). The stay over all was really pleasant and would stay again.

The hotel wasn't what we expected. We spent three nights during the end of february, visiting from Athens. The cost for the fireplace woods was 7 euros, despite that our overall expense was more than 700e. The rooms were not fresh (furniture was old, not "classic" or "traditional"), smelly and with really small bathrooms. Our request for a night lockup on an existing backdoor was met only once. The breakfast was cold and clearly not enough for all the guests. The staff did try to help but with little result. One of our bedrooms was cancelled and they charged the full amount (not even the breakfast was discounted). Central heating was on but was not enough to warm up the place. Too many issues for 60e per night.

That was a horrible experience. The novasol company tricked us, with a different name, put old pics and never admitted that. The host was perfect, but the old house from 1826 had a lot of infiltration, from the ground to the first floor. The smell inside was horror, the lights were also very old, the windows without any nets for insects were bad. The swimming pool should need massive repairs and cleaning. Also in every room should be an air conditioning, without it it's difficult to breath. Instead of tricking us the travel company should help the host in some way, giving advice how to improve the house.
