Mitsis Bali Paradise

We liked the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds are well-maintained, and the staff is polite. Upon check-out, wristbands are not removed, so you can still enjoy meals and the bar. There is also a shower and a luggage storage room. The hotel has a small water park for children aged 6 and up (minimum height 120 cm). There were enough sun loungers on the beach. There’s also a kids’ room for younger children — my daughter enjoyed going there to draw. On my birthday, there was no attention at all — no card, no small gift. The birthday package must be ordered in advance online or at the reception, but this was not mentioned at check-in, even though my birth date was clearly visible in the passport. The process of ordering the package felt inconvenient. Overall, it’s a good hotel for a family vacation, but service for special occasions could be improved.

The hospitality at Mitsis Bali Paradise impressed me during my vacation at this hotel. The hotel staff greeted us with kindness and provided immediate assistance throughout our entire stay. The welcoming environment created an immediate sense of comfort for us. The hotel stands out because it caters to different guest profiles including families with children and couples and groups of friends. The hotel offers something for every guest which creates a complete vacation experience. The hotel served fresh and diverse food and drinks that remained delicious throughout our entire stay. The hotel maintained excellent organization while keeping its dining areas spotless and welcoming to guests. The trip experienced an unpleasant moment because a group of French tourists displayed inappropriate behavior. The hotel maintained its high standards and excellent service despite this incident which was unrelated to the hotel. I strongly suggest this hotel to anyone seeking relaxation in a professional environment that welcomes families and exudes positive energy. 🤝🏾

I stayed at this hotel in May 2025 with my family and had a very pleasant experience overall. Highlights: Cleanliness: The entire property was spotless: lobby, swimming pools, rooms. Friendly staff: The team was welcoming, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Renovated rooms: Some rooms have been recently renovated, with a fresh and modern touch. Terrace and lawn access: One of the best features was the easy access from the room to a terrace and green lawn – perfect for relaxing outdoors. Kids club: Very engaging for my 4 y.o. daughter. Bar: Nice selection of drinks. Downsides: Poor sound insulation: The soundproofing in the connecting rooms was not great – I could hear my neighbor snoring through the door. Cold pool: The swimming pool was quite cold, which made it less enjoyable, especially for younger children. Pool slide access: The water slides are only available for children aged 6 and up. Although this is mentioned on the hotel’s website, I missed this detail when booking through a third-party platform, which was quite disappointing for my daughter. Limited fresh fruit variety: The buffet food was good overall, but the variety of fresh fruit at meals was quite limited. We would have enjoyed less cakes and more fresh fruits. Overall, despite a few small drawbacks, we had a very good stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mitsis. The staff were lovely and generally helpful, food was great and the location was perfect! Food: At each meal there was a wider verity of choice at the buffet. With Veggie and vegan options easily available. It included both Greek classics and home comforts (like scrambled eggs, beans and toast). Each day was slightly different too so you never get bored of it! The Cocktails on offer were tasty too and included spritzers, tequila sunrise and Long Island ice teas to name a few as well as non-alcoholic options. Rooms: unfortunately the rooms are very outdated and basic. The bathroom includes a shower with weak water pressure and the walls are very thin so there are a lot of disturbances in the night. That being said they were kept pretty clean and room service came around every day to clean empty the bins and give us new towels Location and atmosphere: we went in May and were very happy with this timing as the hotel and area wasn’t overly crowded but had a fun atmosphere. There were holiday reps that came to the hotel and led activities such as aqua fit to keep everyone entertained. The pools are lovely and overlook an amazing view. And the hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the closest beach, there are also 2 other beaches close by within a 20 minute walk and you can do activities like canoeing, jet skiing and pedalos. Overall for the price we were very happy with our stay and would recommend Mitsis to anyone heading to Crete!

We stayed at the hotel for five days and four nights, and truly enjoyed our time there. The service was excellent — the staff was kind, helpful, and always available when we needed something. Even though most of them spoke primarily French, they made a big effort to understand us and assist us in every possible way. It really showed how much they cared. The food was absolutely delicious — rich, varied, and plentiful. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and we always found something fresh and tasty to enjoy. Although we visited during a rainy period, it didn’t take away from the experience. The hotel offered plenty of indoor activities and entertainment, so we were never bored. Honestly, if we had such a great time in rainy weather, I can only imagine how amazing it must be in the summer! In short — a warm and welcoming vacation, with great service, wonderful food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates genuine hospitality and a hotel that truly invests in its guests.
