Lofos Apartments Piskopiano Chersonissos

Just returned from our first (but wont be the last) one week stay at Lofos apartments. Wow! What an incredible place! Rooms spacious, Spotlessly clean, exceptional accommodation in a perfect location. Maria, Giorgos & the team are so friendly & helpful & really go above & beyond to make your holiday special. Sad to leave but we will definitely return!

Great location to access all areas Owners are so friendly and approachable, nothing is too much for them. As you climb the steady hill away from the bustling and vibrant area of Heronissos and approach Lofos Apartments you will see the pale coloured front of Lofos sitting by the side of the road that leads up to the lovely town of Piskopiano, behind the Lofos apartments the rocky mountainous and impressive scenery stretches up and away behind. You will not fail to miss or be impressed by the large circular tree standing behind a pair of gates through which you be greeted and warmly welcomed by the excellent staff and the big smiling friendly Giorgos and the lovely and immaculate Maria. From the moment you arrive Lofos will feel informal and very relaxing promising a very happy, tranquil and stress free stay that you may find it hard to say goodbye to and will surely want to return to. The presentation of the whole site around the pool and bar area is kept spotless as are the rooms, apartments and studios, we stayed in a studio which was kept clean and spotless on a daily basis and the shower was amongst the best we had experienced anywhere. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff who will by now have become friends and who never fail to greet you with smiles and attention to whatever you require. The very high standard of care and attention to every aspect and every detail that Giorgos and Maria have achieved and maintain is willingly understood, accepted and shared by all of the staff who deliver the vision of making your stay the best it can be every day. As you relax by the pool on a sunbed with the gentle music drifting softly from the bar you can forget your worries and cares and enjoy the wonderful heat of the Cretian sun. You could believe the you could stay there forever but then reality hits you and you realise that you have to leave so that you can return. A fairly short walk down the hill will lead you to an area that runs along the sea front where there are plenty of shops, bars, café’s and restaurants with plenty of choice of great places to eat or get a drink and where you can walk along to the pretty harbour area and get spectacular views back across towards the town and all of the white washed building nestled on the hillside. The walk back up the hill is a little deceiving and seems longer than you imagine walking down but taken at an easy pace is not much of an effort to arrive back at the welcoming site of the twin gates and the tree that stand at the front of the entrance so you can reward yourself with a well earned beer (or 2). The food served by the kitchen staff at Lofos is delicious and beautifully prepared and presented and there is a great selection of drinks available from the bar. This is a small and very friendly establishment whose mission statement Is ‘arrive as a guest and leave as a friend’ and they succeed in this mission totally. The continual warmth that you feel staying at Lofos just makes a stay with Giorgos and Maria and all of the amazing staff perfect. We feel so lucky and privileged to have found the wonderful place. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary while we were there and so delighted we could spend it with friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lofos and when our time was up we didn’t want to leave we will definitely return and look forward to enjoying another holiday at this excellent piece of tranquil paradise. We would definitely recommend a stay with Giorgos and Maria and all of the wonderful staff without hesitation.

Good location, lovely staff. Great view. Breakfast is not incredible but what you can expect for 3star. Internet is quite patchy when not in the main area. Staff here are really nice, really very friendly. They go extra effort here for you. View is great as on a hill, we like walking and enjoyed the area. Bring shoes for walking. Good retreat vibes, seems to attract nice other holidaymakers too.
