Aktaion Beach Boutique Hotel & Spa

Very nice and absolutely beautiful hotel just two minutes walk from Skala port! We had Family room with pool view, and it was beautifully decorated, really big and absolutely comfortable for a short stay of a family of 4. The standard, design and cleanliness were much higher than other *** hotels we have seen in Greece (and other places). The restaurant was also fine, and the beach literally 10 steps away from the hotel, with comfortable sun beds and the possibility to order food and drinks via QR code. Staff was really welcoming, helpful and lovely. I can definitely recommend this place!

Lovely hotel right on the water. Free breakfast from 8-10:30am with Greek fixings, eggs, and bacon/ham. Gracious staff with knowledge and warmth. English/USA friendly and able to use credit card on the entire property. The massage service was also a delight to take part in. Great location, everything on the island is very accessible. Units cooled with A/C, so heat was never an issue.

Highly recommend this hotel. Just a two minute walk from the skala port, we were able to check in early, all our heavy luggage whisked away to our large family rooms. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating, you feel truly at ease here! The rooms are beautiful and have fridges, jugs, coffee, towels were changed daily, room was cleaned daily, generous deck overlooking pool with drying rack. The beach is right outside the restaurant, just a little bit of seaweed but then there is a big sand bar, we had four kids and we felt really safe the entire time. The restaurant is amazing, all of the food was delicious and fresh. The breakfast buffet that was included with the room was full with so many homemade choices, we were very happy with that. A one point my friends son got an eat infection, the owner herself drove my friends to the doctor, they felt really taken care of and were able to mange the situation quickly. Each day we thought we would go explore other parts of the island, but honestly we were so happy just at this hotel with the beach and pool option, we ended up spending all 7 days right where we were! Highly recommend!

Superb experience! Prime location hotel with great beach, excellent services and extra ordinary staff. We stayed in superior family room. Room was clean, big enough for family of three with great spacious sunny terrace (pool view, church view, partly sea view). Features and design of the room exceeded most four star hotels we have been in Greece. Even some of our previous five star experiences. We loved automatic curtains and lot of lights options (ambient, spot, led). Bathroom was spacious with big shower that includes hand shower and “rain” shower. Cosmetics were really good and we get new sets of towels everyday. Design of room was modern with laidback vibe. Lot of details you cant find in others hotels. Comfy coco matresses, Lot of pillow options and decorations. Common spaces stick to the standard set by beautiful rooms. Beach was really clean, sunbeds were comfortable with thick matrasses. Beach has dedicated waiter/beach boy who will bring you anything from the bar/restaurant menu. Orders are made via mobile using QR code. Very effective and swift. Staff is friendly, always smiling and dedicated to their job. Restaurant combines modern with classic greek design. Food was delicous. We ate all our breakfast and lunches here and we do not regret. Owners seems to be experienced hoteliers. Last day there was power outage on the island and our hotel seems to be only one with electricity, thanks to external generator. Summary: Excellent for those who is looking for boutique experience suitable for kids and close to Athens. We will not hesitate to come again and recommend this hotel to everybody.

Me and my friends visited them couple of times because the food was so delicious we couldn’t stop eating. The best experience on this island for sure. The stuff is so friendly they make you feel at home. The owner (Mr Apostolos) is the sweetest person with great sense of humor. Also they have cutest dog, Luna, we love u!!(She’s on diet, don’t feed her)
