Hotel KAMELO is a third-generation family-run hotel right on the beach of Vari. It is conveniently located only a few metres away from the sandy beach.
The light-coloured rooms offer views of the sea and the village of Vari.
They are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a fridge, a hairdryer and free toiletries.
Each unit has a private bathroom with a shower and a furnished balcony.

27.06.2025Fantastic location. It's one of my favourite places in all Greece! The staff was great, chill and friendly. No shower curtain, but in the context, who cares? The sea-view room was awesome. The guy kept telling me, "Relax, no problem", and I actually did end up relaxing 😅

15.06.2025The hotel is family own. Sofia greeted us when we arrived. She welcomed us with so much love. She treated us like family, and she always had a smile. Beach towels provide for the beach. Highly recommend if you are in Syros and looking for somewhere clean and welcoming to stay.

10.07.2025This was a wonderful place to stay. Family owned and run and the service was outstanding. Sofia and Alex are 2 of the people that have run this place and they are incredible. They will do anything to help you and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Food and room wete very very comfortable. A great place to stay if you want that authentic Greek experience. On the beach. Nicev beach loungers.

02.06.2024Me and my friends had the BEST stay at Hotel Kamelo! All the staff were so amazing - Vasilis was so friendly and helpful while we laid by the beach on the complimentary sun lounges. That was an incredible perk of the hotel. We had the complimentary breakfast which was also amazing! The room was perfect and clean too. Loved our stay so much!

21.07.2024We were so lucky to spend a short 5 day vacation at this hotel. It is everything you want for your holidays! In short: The owners Sofia and Alexis so kind and helpful with everything you can possibly ask. Billy the boy in charge of the (FREE) sunbeds is the epitome of kindness. Breakfast totally out of this world. The hotel runs its own restaurant and the chef is an artist by all means. During our stay they had live Greek music nights at the restaurant. The rooms very clean and get cleaned daily by the room service team. Wifi free with very strong signal within hotel and beach sunbeds. Private parking. Shower on the beach. The (Vari) beach in front of the hotel is very beautiful with crystal clear waters and quite protected from the strong winds blowing during our stay. Last but not least, very competitive prices in accomodation. All of the above make your stay at Kamelo hotel a pleasant experience and a sweet memory to keep in heart!
