Aethrion Boutique Homes Crete

We had a great stay at Aethrion Homes. The location is quiet but still very close to both the sea and the city center, which was really convenient for us. The apartment was clean, modern, and well-equipped—great for either a short visit or a longer stay. The hospitality from Aris and the team was especially appreciated; they were welcoming and helpful throughout our time there. We’d happily stay again in the future.

From all the trips i have been to Greece, this place stayed in my heart. Location is amazing and easy to get by car and bus transportation is easy. Room was exceptional, better than what i saw online. Service is greek!true hospitality. Price is extreme value for money.

Our stay was okay overall, but there are several concerns worth noting. First, the property is located high up on a steep hill, which makes accessing the beach on foot during the hot summer months quite challenging. We found the walk back especially exhausting, although there is a shortcut through an olive grove that helps to some extent. Another issue was the host, Aris, who came across as less than welcoming. He closely monitors guests’ use of the air conditioning and keeps track of when you enter and leave the property. While he presents this as being for ecological reasons, it clearly appears to be financially motivated—especially considering how often you'll see him driving up and down the very hill guests struggle with! Also, don't expect any help with the local area here as the host has never been to a single one of the Tavernas! I would highly recommend going to Glafkos house with pool if you visit this part of Chania, you will leave with a totally different opinion of the area. It is fantastic there! If you would prefer a hotel-based stay Inea sole is hard to top!

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday apartment! It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner upgraded us to a larger apartment, giving us plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time. The owner was incredibly helpful and hospitable, making our check-in seamless even though we arrived very late. He waited for us, provided a warm welcome, and gave us all the information we needed about the apartment and the local area, including tips on nearby supermarkets, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. The location is excellent – just a 5-10 minute walk to Golden Beach, Yannis Beach, and several great restaurants. The only minor downside is that the building is nestled between houses, making it a bit warm and no open view from balconies. However, every room is equipped with air conditioning. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant place to stay close to the beach!
