About the author

Androniki has been spending summers in Spetses for as long as she can remember – in fact, since before she was even born. She grew up watching her grandfather sculpt his marble artworks of ships, cycling around the island, playing in the neighbourhood and staging small theatrical plays with friends. Over the years, Spetses became far more than a summer escape; it became part of who she is – and, thankfully, it remains as timeless as ever.
