Learn about the local varieties of wine at the House of Wine. Discover the delicious and aromatic character of Cretan wines.

Τhe house of wine offer you an amazing experience to native varieties of the Cretan vineyard through the delicious and aromatic character that floods from our glass.

The visitor will know the varieties through the final product that will reveal the characteristics of the places as well as the personal touches of the winemaker offering a unique result.

Also if you want to celebrate or either want a unique special place for any reason until 20 persons , we have that place and you can send us an inquiry with your desires and we will make it happen.

Tasting of 11 different wines (75ml per glass)

  • White Wines: Vilana, Vidiano, Thrapsathiri, Plito, Dafni, Muscat of Spina, Malvazia Di Candia
  • Red Wines: Liatiko, Kotsifali, Mantilari
  • Sweet Wine: Naturaly sweet wine from Romeiko

Pairing traditional food with wine

  • Apaki: Pieces of smoked pork
  • Dakos: Rusk with tomato and white cheese
  • Tigania: Pork with Cretan herbs fried to olive oil
  • Dolmadakia: Stuffed Grape Leaves With Rice and Herbs                       
  • Kalitsounakia: Traditional herb pie
  • Graviera: Aged yellow cheese
