Its clean and spacious- but disappointed in expectations verses experience. The air conditioning doesn't work well, it's cool enough to be somewhat comfortable but you don't have much control. Also some things show ware, like loose handles. On the other hand the have access to both kettle and espresso machine in your room for coffee or tea. Not the most comfortable beds. Look wise the rooms are elegant, even if the lobby is a little extra, it's fun. The pool is very nice. The breakfast falls short, eggs are the highlight for me, and you can't order them a la carte, and the ones available aren't that great. I was underwhelmed by the dinner buffet as well, better to eat out. The toilet paper fixture are positioned oddly low. But in the end they listen to our complaints and gave us new accommodations and a few complimentary gifts. The location is very close to great food and shopping, and a little further to the castle.

I really like this hotel. The atmosphere is peaceful and it is the kind of place that writers or artists would like to stay for a period to work on their projects. The hotel design and decor is Victorian, with chandeliers and paintings. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was my favorite time and i found the cakes really awesome. Location was perfect, as a supermarket is nearby, and restaurants were a 5 minute walk.

5-star lobby, 3-star hotel. It looks great from the outside, but things are not so great inside. Rooms - it felt like no one had actually quality checked the rooms. The bathroom door didn't lock, the shower had very low pressure which could have been fixed with a better shower head, aircons are dated, and the mattress on the large bed had seen better days. There's a coffee machine (nespresso), so that's a plus. Pool - pretty good, kept clean, but hard to get a towel in the afternoon. Only one staff member serving the pool area so it took a while to get one. Breakfast - not great. The basics of a buffet, but nothing to write home about. There was no whole fresh fruit, instead a platter of chopped banana going brown. Not what I wanted to see in the morning. They do offer fresh coffee, but you have to order it and there was only one staff member serving a room of people. Car parking - the overground car park gets full quickly. Take a deep breath if you head down to the underground car park. It's something to experience. Low ceilings with air ducts so you have to duck, dripping ceilings, salt stalagtites that drip onto the car (I'm not joking), bad signage, and to enter the hotel you have to walk through a conference room. Again, no clear signs on the route from the car park to the hotel, or from the hotel to the car park. You have to ask. Car charging - if you want to charge your car, register with InCharge on your app before you go. The charge points are far enough into the underground car park so that there's no wifi. So you'll need to walk out the car park to install the app, then walk back. Again, it's just as if no one thought through how people would use the facilities there. I've stayed in a fair few hotels, and I was pretty disappointed here. Definitely not worth 5-star money, and not where I will be staying again.

The breakfast was phenomenal, buffet style, the food service at the bar as well was very good. The rooms were very poor. The AC did not work, even when we called the front desk to fix it. The drains in the bathroom didn’t drain and would clog up. The lights in the hallway didn’t work so seeing was very hard especially if you have someone who wheelchair/walker bound. Location was perfect. Waling distance to the limni, food shops and grocery.

Rooms needs a touch of upgrade! The overall experience and rate is 5 star! People there are extremely kind and the cleanliness is more than 5 stars.
