Sunny Bay Hotel Crete

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 weeks in july and we couldnt be more satisfied! Its a cozy and relaxing environment which was exactly what we wanted for our holiday. The staff were so nice and professional! We had a room with a sea wiew and oh my god how beautiful it was! I was also pleasantly suprised that the sunbeds for the beach was included in our stay - in a lot of other hotels I have been to in Crete you have to rent sunbeds on the beach even though they belong to the hotel. We loved our stay! The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place is great for families. Good location. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing. The food at the restaurant was also delicious! It’s a peaceful and clean place, with a warm and welcoming vibe. We highly recommend it! Obrigada. Efcharistó.

Great rooms… simple and clean! Owners and reception super nice and accommodating! Perfect location for a night or 2. Perfect place for night before ferry boat to Balos Lagoon! 5 mins away!

Hotel in perfect location. Quiet, short walk to the town centre and easily accessible to motorway. Rooms are so spacious with huge bed and kept clean by lovely ladies. Towels changed every day. Everything sparking clean. Breakfast might seem boring but in fact is not. Varies from day to day. I noticed some vegan stuff as well. Everything was delicious! Stunning views. The restaurant is very enjoyable as well.

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Sunny Bay Hotel in Kissamos, Crete, and from the moment we booked, we knew we were in for something special. The hotel’s social media gave us a glimpse into the personal and high-quality experience awaiting us, and it did not disappoint. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and we were fortunate to have a corner room, which came with balconies on two sides. Every day, the rooms were meticulously cleaned, and hygiene was clearly a top priority. The only small critique we had was that the air conditioning seemed a bit dated, which meant it took a little longer to cool the room. However, it still managed to keep the room comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Aside from the lovely rooms, the hotel boasts a beautiful swimming pool. It caters to all types of swimmers, and the water was at the perfect temperature—refreshing yet not too cold. For those who prefer the sea, there’s a fantastic little beach right next to the hotel, with crystal-clear, shallow waters that stretch far out, perfect for a relaxing dip. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff. From housekeeping to the bar team, everyone worked tirelessly from morning until night with big smiles, ensuring we had the perfect vacation. Florian, the talented bartender, makes some of the best cocktails you’ll find on the island, and his passion shines through. He’s not only great at his craft but also more than happy to share his knowledge. The prices were also impressively reasonable. The restaurant staff were equally warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was fantastic, and the breakfast was a daily delight for the 10 days we stayed. A huge thank you to everyone at Sunny Bay Hotel for making our vacation so memorable. Without a doubt, this is the place to be when visiting Crete and Kissamos. Highly recommended!
