Stavros Beach Hotel

I booked a quadruple/ Family room for 2 adults and 2 children via Agoda, expecting a spacious, clean, family-friendly accommodation based on the hotel’s online photos. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different and extremely disappointing. First, the photos on the website are misleading. The hotel does not have a proper car park —there is only a nearby field where you may park, but it has no direct access to the hotel. This made unloading and loading luggage uncomfortable and inconvenient. Upon arrival, the staff was rude and unhelpful. They wrongly claimed my reservation was for 3 adults in a triple room and refused to honor the quadruple room I had booked and paid for. Despite showing clear booking confirmation with 2 adults and 2 small children, they insisted no such room was available and that families with small children are usually not given the larger rooms—something never mentioned before booking. The room itself was much smaller and in very poor condition: broken furniture with nails protruding dangerously, mold and mildew in the bathroom, a shower cabin without any partition causing the bathroom floor to flood, and air conditioning blowing cold air directly onto the bed with no way to adjust temperature, fan speed, or airflow direction straight to the bed, entering the room was taking up to 10min due to broken door lock. Sleeping comfortably was impossible. The cleaning staff was disruptive, shouting loudly in the corridors daily between 1 and 3 pm when small children were trying to nap—showing lack of consideration for guests’ comfort. Throughout the stay, the hotel staff remained impolite and dismissive, refusing to apologize, offer room upgrades, or provide any compensation despite numerous issues. Even basic help with luggage was denied. The breakfast was very basic and tasteless, not to mention the coffee. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience that did not come close to what was promised. I cannot recommend this hotel to families or anyone expecting a clean, comfortable, and professionally managed stay.

Hotel is on a very good location. Food in a hotel is great and delicious. Room is very clean. 👌👌👌👌

The photos of the rooms published on the sites have nothing to do with the room in which we were accommodated. The hotel is extremely outdated and dirty. The bathroom was extremely dirty. In the bathroom there were holes in the wall covered with a sticker. The windows in the common areas were so fogged up that you could barely see through them. The balcony door did not lock. Our room lacked a dryer which was available in every other room. Bar service was extremely slow. We waited for 2 beers for almost 20 minutes considering that we were the only customers apart from the owner of the hotel. The front desk is not open 24/7 and they lock the lobby after midnight. The elevator is not working. The breakfast was nice. The location of the hotel is the only advantage. The price-quality ratio does not correspond to reality. I am adding photos from the hotel so you can get an accurate idea.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Stavros Beach hotel and wanted to share my thoughts about the experience. The front desk staff were not only nice but also incredibly helpful. One of the highlights of the hotel was undoubtedly the pool area. It was not only well-maintained but also boasted crystal-clear water, making it an inviting spot to relax and unwind. The attention to cleanliness in this area was truly commendable. Regarding the breakfast, while it was included in the stay, we found it to be just okay. It might benefit from a bit more variety and flavor to truly elevate the morning dining experience. The cleanliness of the room was definitely a standout. It was evident that the housekeeping team took their job seriously, as the room was spotless upon my arrival and well-taken care of each day of my stay. One area that could use improvement, however, was the showers. They were a bit uncomfortable. In summary, the Stavros Beach hotel offers a lot to appreciate, from the friendly and helpful front desk staff to the pristine pool area and well-maintained rooms. While the breakfast and shower comfort could use a little enhancement, these aspects don't overshadow the positive aspects of the stay. I would still recommend the hotel for a pleasant vacation experience.

So bad!Please don’t believe any good comments here! The building is old everythis is OLD. The furniture is in terrible condition. And all this for 110 euros per night? I would regret paying 30 euros to stay in this hotel I’m Greek and I write this comment in English just to protect people to going in this hotel. This isn’t a hotel -this is a cow shed!!!!!
