Sovereign Beach Hotel Kos

Currently having a week's stay here and I have to say it's so much better than I expected. The hotel is spotless, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is lovely with a huge choice. The animation staff I have to give a big thumbs up!!!! They are so friendly and have the majority of the guests joining in the activities. A big shout out to Chico and Carlos who are amazing at their job. I have only one downside at that it the hotel tax which for myself was €120 which I felt was extortionate. Apart from that I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was my first time in Greece and I truly recommend it! 🩷 Beautiful surroundings, delicious and beautifully presented food, tasty drinks 🍝🧁🍦🍹 The rooms are cleaned daily. There’s a large pool and a jacuzzi (unfortunately, the water was still cold 🥶). The staff were very kind and helpful. The same goes for the animators (Chico, Carlo, Ben and Max) - always smiling, friendly, and creative with the activities 🎤💃🧘‍♀️ I hope I’ll get the chance to visit this hotel again. Highly recommended! 🥰

I booked on TUI and it showed us it’s a 5 star hotel, the the pool looked so big and everything looked good. The room has nothing inside, no tissue box, and when take a shower, whole bathroom gets wet. It’s a maximum 3 star hotel. One more thing, we had to pay 210 euros in cash local tax for our two rooms. With no invoice .

Great hotel staff very attentive food supervisor everything no trouble to her. Only letdown animation staff think they are God's and whether you are eating sunbathing they try to pitch buying a tee shirt 15 euros wheras 10 in town. Play bingo wow 10 euros I game win prizes 50 euros in gifts yet take in 2000 euros. Rich animation team. Everything great clean but don't expect adult entertainment.

The staff are all really lovely and do an excellent job. I can't say a single bad word about them. They are the 5 star. I wouldn't say this was a 5 star all-inclusive stay, though. The food was plentiful but nothing special. All the chicken dishes seem to be over cooked, everytime. The Asian themed night was probably the most flavourful. I did enjoy the salad bar selctions and some nice blue cheese they had. The barmen were great and super fast getting your drinks. The pool area is nice and we always found a spot. The nighttime entertainment was okay but perhaps could be improved with more live music. There weren't any water sports activities as mentioned on the hotels website. And the beach itself could do with a good clean-up. Or, just have a walk a little down the way and find a nicer spot. The little tavern near the beach was a good place for a light snack and a few beers whilst sat on the beach. The room was cleaned every day with fresh new towels. The shower was very poorly designed. There was no shower curtain or glass to stop the water running out into the bathroom. Constantly overflowing. Nice walk into kardema. Takes about 20 minutes depending on your walking abilities.
