The Residence Aiolou Hotel & Spa

Great location for shopping and sightseeing, a very short walk from the metro. Lots of great restaurants immediately in the area. We had a great room with a view of the acropolis. Breakfast was ok, but the reception staff were wonderful. Highly recommend.

Hard to knock this hotel. Modern renovation in a historic old mansion. Very clean and comfortable. Front desk really friendly and helpful. Location is perfect.

Every corner of the hotel, and especially our room, was spotless, creating an incredibly peaceful and serene ambiance that made it a joy to relax and unwind. The attention to detail in maintaining such a high standard of hygiene was evident and deeply appreciated. The location of Residence Aiolou is simply perfect. Tucked away just enough to ensure tranquility, yet incredibly convenient for exploring all that the area has to offer. We found ourselves perfectly situated to enjoy local attractions, dining, and more, all within easy reach. A very special mention must go to the cleaning staff. These ladies are not just cleaners; they are true gems! They did an absolutely amazing job daily, ensuring our room was pristine and refreshed. Beyond their incredible work ethic, they were also incredibly lovely and friendly, always greeting us with a cheerful smile and a kind word. Their dedication to making our stay comfortable was clear, and it truly enhanced our experience. To top it all off, they even presented us with a thoughtful gift upon checkout, a gesture that truly warmed our hearts and spoke volumes about their hospitality. I spent here a couple of weekends, both in the occasion of a Bachelor’s party of my close friends. The first time I slept in a triple room, this space is really comfortable with a large bathroom with a shower. The second time I slept in a double room, which was pretty a mess. The location is really nice, close to tube stops Monastiraki and close to all nightlife main attractions, just 30’ by taxi from the beach bars. I will suggest this residence in any case. Not so cheap.
