Nestorian House

What a brilliant little hotel in Syros. My wife and I booked a last minute room at The Nestorian House after a week of island hopping and it was the perfect antidote to a week on the water. It has been incredibly tastefully converted into a very well equipped and welcoming hotel in the best part of an excellent little town. The staff were incredibly attentive and the breakfast both generous and delicious. We didn’t want to leave but a passage back towards Athens was calling. We will visit again.

Friendly personel, rooms are very spacious, clean and user friendly. The location is just the best for in Ermoulolis walks and sight seeing, our suit haf a bath tub on the balcony, clean and brand new. Top service the free parking which is a problem in this area. We will return for sure. Highly recommended

After spending three nights at the Nestorian House in Syros, I find myself filled with fond memories of what was meant to be a two-night stay. The location was ideal, just a short 10-minute walk from the port, but it was the warmth of the welcome that truly set the tone. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the most genuine smile and a beautifully cheerful voice, letting us know that our room was ready. I’ve never felt so welcomed to a hotel before. Our room, which was both clean and reasonably spacious, was thoughtfully prepared, and we were guided upstairs while everything was carefully explained. Keen to explore, we asked for recommendations, and the lovely receptionist didn’t hesitate to pull out a map and give us a thorough rundown of the area. Her knowledge of the island was impressive, and her passion for sharing it was even more so. Each morning, her kindness shone through as we enjoyed breakfast. She greeted us with the same warmth and attentiveness that became a hallmark of our stay. Every time we left or returned, we were met with that familiar smile, a cheerful hello, and a wish for a good day. It became such a comforting routine that leaving felt like parting with a cherished friend. Nestorian House, tucked in amid cobblestone-lined roads winding through the hills, offered more than just a place to rest—it offered an experience filled with genuine hospitality. As I write this, I can’t help but feel sad that our stay had to come to an end. This lovely hotel and its wonderful staff have left a lasting impression. Thank you!
