Dionysos Studios Laganas

We had a wonderful stay here! The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Their hospitality really made a difference and created such a warm atmosphere. The hotel is also in a fantastic position, very close to laganas main street and beach. The rooms are pretty clean and got everything you need. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely go back!

We had an incredible stay at Dionysos Studios. The room was perfect, equipped with everything we needed including a small kitchen, a private bathroom, air conditioning, a balcony, and a big bed. The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and the center. Additionally, guests have access to a nearby pool, which was a great bonus. The standout feature of our stay was the amazing staff. Our host went above and beyond to help us explore the island, recommending a fantastic authentic restaurant (outside her home village), providing us with a beach umbrella, and assisting us in finding the best car rental option. The entire staff was extremely friendly and truly enhanced our experience. Special thanks to the owner for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend Dionysos Studios to anyone visiting Zakynthos! :)

I left 5 stars to raise the rating a little because 3.1 stars seems unfair. The location was good. Near the beach and plenty shops around. 15 min by car to the Zakynthos town. For the price, having breakfast is included is very nice. It's a very good place for people who are not choosy. The cleaning is done daily.

Good - The beach, shops, and restaurants were close by. - The dog was cute. Bad - The room wasn't clean even after "cleaning." - The shower was so small that it was impossible to use it properly, and the bathroom flooded during showers. - All the faucets were covered in limescale. - They didn't refill the soap. - We didn't get toilet paper on the second-to-last day. - The trash bin wasn't emptied every day. - The mattress was so worn out that the springs were poking into our ribs. - There was no air conditioning in the room for free. - The breakfast was very minimal, and if we went a bit later, there was hardly anything left to choose from, even though there was only one other family besides us. - There was fur on the croissant at breakfast (they have a dog). - The bed linen was stained and had several cigarette burns. - There was a constant sewer smell in the bathroom coming from outside. - The water at the sink and in the shower was salty, so we couldn't wash our faces with clean water. - There were two WiFi networks, but both worked very poorly, sometimes one, sometimes the other, and sometimes neither. - There was practically no staff, just one cleaning lady and the owner, who unfortunately doesn't speak English.

Not bad for the price you pay. Clean room and working AC. Very close to the Laganas strip and some great beaches. The bathroom was terrible though, very shoddy shower and the toilet was not working. The owners were lovely.
