The Athens Lotus hotel, a neoclassical building dating from the early 20th century, fully renovated in 2009 as a 4-star boutique hotel, is the starting point of a new activity that prioritizes aesthetic rejuvenation and hospitality. It is also exempt from the new overnight tax of 3 euros per night.

The hotel is conveniently near the Metaxourgeio (metro station) & in walking distance from historical monuments (Acropolis museum, Parthenon, Ancient Agora, National Archaeological museum).

As well as near the commercial spots of town like Plaka, Monastiraki, Syntagma & Kolonaki square. The National railway station (Larissa station) is only 2 minutes walking from the hotel.

It offers elegant and comfortable standard rooms with free Wi-Fi, and 20’’LCD TVs for its customers.

Athens Lotus disposes elegant rooms, all equipped with double glazed soundproof windows, anatomic mattresses, air conditioning and heating, mini-bar and safety deposit box convenient for laptop.

    Metro station is 50m from the hotel, which is very convenient. The rooms are reasonably new and spacious. Overall a good option for travelers on a budget who are after a 3 stars comfort. I personally wouldn't consider this a 4 stars hotel. The only disappointing bit is the buffet: the croissants are not fresh, and the coffee is really really bad. If you want to order coffee from the bar, you need to pay extra...

    Small rooms, but no hot water in the shower. Breakfast is okay, better than average. There are no fancy views from the rooms. Neighborhood may be a bit unattractive, but it is safe in a way if you take your precautions. Staff is super helpful and always kind. The hotel is really close to the metro station, and going to Akropolis would take you max 20 minutes. Good value for money.

    For the price we paid for our holiday it was worth it. The area is not the best but haven't had any trouble. The metro is 30 seconds away from the front door so that's brilliant. Room was very clean. Came with air conditioning that worked well and it was away from you so just leave it on to keep the room cool. Had its own fridge which was surprisingly spacious for a mini fridge, can get big bottle's in it. Wardrobe with a safe in it that you put your own code in and it's own bathroom with shower. Read a review that said it had low water pressure but not had any troubles. If you are on a medium budget then this is a very good choice. Tons of food places around and on 2 stops away from the party district with the 360 bar that has an amazing view of the Acropolis

    We had a great stay here this week. Rooms were extremely clean and nicely decorated. The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was tasty and not very expensive. Our stay was quiet and comfortable, and the easy access to the metro meant we were just far enough away from the centre but could get there quickly if needed. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely experience.

    Wonderful hotel, staff very friendly and accommodating. The room is small but very well cleaned and with all the necessary facilities. Only not nice thing is the location, the area is pretty crappy and noisy, surely not the best area to hang out in the evening, but the metro is close nearby so you can reach better areas easily.
