Athens Feeling

My wife and I live on Crete but travel to Athens periodically, and this is our second stay at Athens Feelings. Great location in the heart of the city but several blocks from the truly crazy tourist jam of Monastriaki, so it's perferct for us. Rooms are small, but this is to be expected in a truly central urbal location at a good price, AND the rooms are luxuriously fitted out, efficiently laid out (King bed, functional working desk) with great mattress, excellent shower, etc. The gift shop next door (which is also excellent, by the way) serves as the reception staff, and they're wonderful. Great thanks to Maria for holding our bags after check out, and to Keti, our chambermaid. Everyone was warm and friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home.

Cancelled my reservation because the “system double booked” and “the other guest was already there” I got an apology so other than your plans might be ruined at least you have that. “I hope you understand” I do understand but i hope you also understand the poor review.

This place do not have a 24hr front desk, which can be problematic. The interior design has flaws and the toilet door handle has sharp edges that torn my head open and I was bleeding heavily BUT because they don’t have a front desk 24hrs I was helpless and had to call the ambulance myself There no first aid kit available either I tried calling the number provided and no one picked up, there’s no other way to directly contact the accommodation staff The service hour was not clear. But the staff promptly addressed my concern the next day, and promised they would look into it. Staff are nice, the fact that there’s no emergency contact and you are on your own is an issue. But location is good.

A great choice for a nice and cosy stay in the heart of Athens. Plenty of options to eat and places of interest such as the Acropolis in the vicinity. Friendly and helpful staff! The place does offer the feeling of the city, indeed.

Amazing location at the nice part of Monastiraki, with thoughtfully designed rooms that had absolutely everything you need. I had trouble with entering the main building (the code from booking was not working), but the staff was super helpful and quick to help. The downside: even though many reviewers raised this, it was, unfortunately, too loud for my taste. Although my room (idol suite) was the furthest from the street, you could still hear all the noise from the restaurants and passers-by, and also every hotel guest who entered and left the building. If you enjoy/need quietness to sleep, this is perhaps not the place for you. Also, the code which was given to me via booking did not work for the main entrance. Thankfully, I arrived at a time when staff at the Emilie shop was there, but I wonder how it would be had I came at midnight, as the hotel has no reception desk.
