We stayed here for five nights last week. We were impressed not only by the accommodation but also by the service. Eva and Chris in particular were always on hand to help. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. The view alone was amazing. There is one small thing we would like to see in future: a parasol would be great. :-) Thank you for a wonderful time. We are from Spain and we came to Santorini for vacation, we stayed for a week and we only have positive things to say. Definitely one of the best weeks of our life! 😊 The suite was luxurious and stunning, with a super comfy bed (the best sleep of my life hahaha 😴) and an amazing view. The service was exceptional, with Eva and Chris going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Everything was fast and professional. 1000/10 🏆 For sure we’ll return and recommend this to everyone! Ευχαριστώ!!

All we can say is... WOW!!! All the staff, especially Eva, are top notch. Our room is a dream and daily breakfast cannot get better. We'll update this review with more wonderful details when we have more time since we're still traveling... This place is superb and we totally recommend it! ❣️

Our stay at Arany was wonderful, with the private hot tub and breathtaking views being the standout features of the room. The room itself was unique, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, adding to the charm of the experience. Breakfast was large and decent, offering enough variety. The location worked well for us, especially since we rented a car—it’s close enough to everything while still offering a sense of privacy and calm. It’s worth noting that the property feels more like an upscale Airbnb than a traditional hotel, so if you’re looking for a more self-contained experience, this is a great choice. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!

Read before booking - not a 4 star hotel. We booked for the first stop in our honeymoon in Santorini and were grateful we didn’t stay longer. The view from the executive suite is truly epic, especially for sunset, but nothing else met expectations. We knew this before booking, but privacy is very minimal in these rooms. Epic views mean you’re on the caldera hiking trail, so everyone can see into your room. It’s about 5-7 minutes uphill to the edge of town from your room. Despite being brand new the wear of one season is obvious, outside pillows were all torn open and not replaced. Construction quality is also low. The bathroom smelled very strongly of sewer the entire time, which made our room smell like sewer. I was told by the manager it was because of the caldera, but no other caldera side bathrooms at bars, restaurants, or our other hotels smelled like this - it’s obviously a construction mistake they are not willing to address. So odds are your room with a beautiful view will smell Ike sewage. As it was our honeymoon, I arranged in advance for flowers to be delivered to the room, they weren’t there and I was told it was my fault for not reminding them. Breakfast was weak, it looks delicious and you get an amazing view while eating, but it’s poor quality and large quantity. The room lacked basic things you’d expect at a 4 star hotel, there were no tissues for example. The towels were ratty and cheap, the pillows felt cheap as well. The place is run by two brothers that own a bar, so that’s the standard of service you receive and it’s not 4 star hotel level service. No one offered to help with luggage, first hotel in Greece in years of visiting this has happened. It seemed like the place was run by kids with no real hotel experience. It’s obvious the owners are trying to run it as cheaply as possible and you see it everywhere, for example the fridge wouldn’t go low enough to get our wine cold and couldn’t be adjusted. No tissues, cheap toilet paper, cheap pillows. We were given two decaf coffee capsules and kept having to call for more real capsules, two small waters a day, etc. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again, but Arany’s location delivered an epic sunset view at a good price - IMO it’s worth it to pay more and get a real hotel not a 2 star trying to be 4 star suite hotel.
