About the author

With studies in Communication Society and Journalism at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and a specialization in visual mass media, Mrs Olga Tabouris - Mpampalis is considered one of the most accredited cultural managers in Greece.
She has been the Artistic Director of the Sani Festival for the last 19 years, while, among others, she has also served as the General Director of the Cultural Association of Entrepreneurs of Northern Greece and also she has been the Director and Chief Editor of the quarterly cultural printed edition "Thessalonikeon polis".
Last but not least, she had the artistic direction and coordination of the artistic program of the 48th Performing Arts Festival of Thessaloniki "DIMITRIA" and she has collaborated with several cultural institutions in the city of Thessaloniki.

My first Sani Festival. The first event I organised on Sani Hill, the landmark of the festival and the place I used to visit when I ran away from home and rushed to the beach of a marina that was no longer in operation.
