Descrizione
Partendo dal molo di Platis Gialos, nel sud di Sifnos, ci dirigiamo verso sud-ovest e, dopo 8 miglia nautiche, raggiungiamo l'isola disabitata di Poliegos. Se il tempo lo consente, ci fermiamo alla Grotta di Fanara, con l'acqua azzurra e cristallina e i bellissimi colori delle sue pareti di roccia vulcanica.
Poi ci dirigiamo verso sud e presto entriamo nella baia di Faros. Lì possiamo ammirare il tanto fotografato faro di Poliegos, costruito nel 1898. Possiamo nuotare nella baia e goderci le acque, oltre al piccolo lago sull'isola che attira le capre selvatiche.
Poi ci dirigiamo verso l'estremità meridionale dell'isola ed entriamo nella baia di Kalogeroi. Ci sono ciottoli bianchi e rosa e bellissime rocce che circondano la baia e all'interno della baia ci sono le rovine di antiche miniere.
Andando verso ovest, vediamo rocce a forma di barche a vela ed entriamo nelle grotte con la barca. Infine, visitiamo la spiaggia di Mirsini, dove possiamo nuotare nelle acque cristalline e sempre calme.
