Beautiful view, apartment in need of renovation and a good cleaning. What we liked · The beautiful view of the marina and the islands from the apartment's balconies was definitely what convinced us to book. The distance to Nydri is not far (5 minutes) by car (about 20-25 minutes on foot along the road without sidewalks). The beds are comfortable, not the softest, but supportive, and we slept well, thanks in part to the air conditioning. The apartment is spacious and very bright. There are several small beaches near by that are very pretty and uncrowded. There's also a minimarket right in front of the property. The manager (Sotiria) tried to be helpful when the entire area lost water due to a water failure. What we didn't like · Unfortunately, there are several negatives: - The apartment has only been partially renovated (living area and bedroom); the bathroom and kitchenette are dilapidated and very worn. - The room was cleaned, although it's scheduled every four days, but it was only done very sloppily once in nine days (a quick sweep, a quick wipe in the bathroom, and a change of sheets and towels) at 4:30 PM, when we'd already returned from the beach, so we were forced to go out and wait. Dust was almost everywhere, sheets had holes and were worn, mold, and some cobwebs. After the one cleaning, done on the fourth day, we found the same stains and hair in the bathroom. We had to buy products from the supermarket to clean up ourselves. (Note to the host: it's the host's duty and responsibility to ensure the services provided are provided correctly, not the guest's duty to call to request them). - We found very few cooking utensils and pots, and many of them were in terrible condition, as well as dirty. The same was true for the drying rack, which had a single peg. So we had to buy everything else we needed. The water didn't seem drinkable; we noticed it had a white film, so crates of water were needed. - To access the apartment, you have to go down a few stairs and up a few more; it's not wheelchair-accessible. - The main road behind the building is a bit noisy due to the constant traffic of cars, modified scooters, and trucks, but since we live in the city, it wasn't a problem that kept us awake at night. - The Wi-Fi is a bit weak and only allows basic tasks; even social media is intermittent. The property has great potential and a very convenient location, but at least from our experience, the apartment needs renovations and better, more constant cleaning.

Especially the apartment was very spacious and had everything you need. Location very good, not completely in center but close enough to have restaurants in close proximity. Also very nice contact with the owner and staff!

Fantastic spot. See view with a long walking dock with small boats. Very good service from the maid. Washing machine very helpfull. 5 min drive to Nidri and direct access to main road. Supermarket across the street. Will stay there next time.

Amazing accommodation right on the sea, lovely views from the balcony. About 20min walk to town. So restaurants closer and also a beach only 2min walk next to the harbour.

The place is well worth it. It has a great waterfront view to the east. We are here for almost a week now and find it quiet enough. It does not get too hot in the evenings. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are impeccably maintained, and tidied up on daily basis. There are fascilities to prepare breakfast, have a Greek coffee, and even prepare a dinner. It is just outside Nydri, so it is not crowded and is a bit quieter.
