ELG Contessa Boutique Hotel consists of six beautiful rooms. Three of them are overlooking the venetian port of Chania, with full sea view, one has partial sea view and two rooms are with no view, in the back side of the building.

03.08.2025El Greco Hotel is absolutely charming and incredibly comfortable — my favourite hotel of our trip! The lady at reception (I believe the owner) always greeted us with a massive smile and a warm welcome every single day, which made us feel right at home. A big shout-out to the ladies in the kitchen who prepare breakfast — it was outstanding every morning, and they were always so pleasant and friendly. While the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, it’s not an issue — the large public car park just 100m away always had spaces. Even in July/August, the longest we ever waited was 10 minutes. If you want a warm, welcoming stay right in the heart of Chania, this is the place to be!

16.09.2025I had a very good experience there. The room that I stayed was quite new. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was simple, but nice. The location is fantastic.

24.06.2025Very high standard of the hotel, freshly renovated. Spacious rooms with A/C and small refrigerator. Good quality of food on breakfast. Hotel is in the old town, shops and restaurants are right next to it. There is also a beach nearby and a bus stop.

05.09.2025Everything was otherwordly. Food was fresh and tasty each morning, location was 5min walk to the central Chania square, or 2-3 mins to the port (one street away). The staff deserves special praise as they were relaxed and understanding about everything, and always smiling and happy to help.

30.07.2024Hotel is in old town and easily accesible to any where. Rooms were clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and everyday they are making room up. Breakfast in the morning has lots of kinds, I especially liked local olive so much. Rooftop pub has a nice view and prices are affordable. And most important one, everyone working at the hotel is friendly, sincere, polite and helpful.
