Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel

The location is perfect, no need for any public transportation. Many beaches 7min walk, port, shopping, good coffee, new city and old city... Service and communication with the team was great. They were available for us all the time before and during our stay. We were a big group. The food in the restaurant lobby was tasty, highly recommended (same kitchen as the pool restaurant). Also at night, a place to have a drink inside or nearby. Good solution if you want to enjoy other activities in the city.

When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice reception lady, who explained everything about the hotel with much patience, the rooms are spacey and clean. The only downside of the room was the balcony which was like 50cm wide (its pretty long tho). There also were some ants in the room. (My mom who stayed in the room mext to us said she didnt see any.) Which for me wasn't a big deal but i understand if it is for others. All the staff was really nice. The breakfast and diner had different food everynight (For the 7 days we stayed). With lots of variety each day. Also the pool is reaaly nice with enough sunbeds and a really affordable poolbar. Would definitely recommend to others if you keep the minor downsides in mind. (The slim balcony and the ants in the room)

Recently stayed in this hotel with my partner and did the bed and breakfast package. Food was great and staff were lovely. Cost of cocktails in the hotel were also very cheap and the rooms were clean! We actually got engaged during our stay, which made the experience even more special.

Mixed experience – not the best value for money For the price we paid, we honestly expected more. I’ve stayed in better hotels for the same amount. The real highlights of this hotel were without a doubt the cleaning staff – incredibly friendly and hardworking, and they did an excellent job. The breakfast staff were also very kind and welcoming. The breakfast itself was very good: varied, plentiful, and constantly replenished. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable, and in terms of cleanliness, everything was spotless. However, the building is clearly outdated, and that’s noticeable in the overall feel and comfort of the shared areas. For example, the lobby had no air conditioning, which was very uncomfortable in the summer heat. The swimming pool is a decent size, but the terrace around it lacks atmosphere – it just didn’t feel cosy or inviting, which is a shame for a space meant for relaxation. What really stood out negatively for me was the reception staff. There was no warm welcome, not even a simple “kalimera” or “kalinichta” the entire week. We passed through the lobby multiple times a day and not once were we greeted – it was more like “kalinothing”. A missed opportunity, because a friendly front desk can really make a difference in the overall experience. In summary: there are definitely some strong points, but the overall atmosphere, reception service, and value for money could be much better. With a bit more attention to hospitality and ambiance, this hotel could be greatly improved.

It was quite alright, but the constant exposure to cigarette smoke was a deal breaker for me. I’m very sensitive to smoke and people at the hotel smoke around the pool, outside the lobby and even inside the hotel and rooms. We couldn’t use the AC because it pumped cigarette smoke into our room (another guest was probably smoking in their room and it spread through the ventilation). I would have hoped that I could at least escape it at the hotel, but no. I’m not coming back to this hotel or Rhodes, this place is not for me.
